A month later

Carol: "good morning love"

Alex yawns

Alex: "morning babe"

Carol: "happy anniversary"

Alex: "happy anniversary"

Carol pull alex into a kiss

Alex: "did you make the  dinner reservations for tonight?"

Carol: "yes i did. Our favorite sushi place, the one we went to for our first date"

Alex: "can't wait"

Alex: "what are you doing today for work?"

Carol: "heading to the triskelion, fury has a special assignment for me today"

Alex: "sounds interesting, just be back in time for dinner"

Carol: "i know i know"

She gets out of bed

Carol: are" you going to sleep in?"

Alex nods and pulls the blankets over her

Carol: "alright, I'm going to get ready"

She kisses alex's cheek

And hour later

Carol: "bye lizzie i have to go. Bye love see you tonight. For our anniversary dinner"

Lizzie: "bye momma see you when you get home"

Lizzie hugs carol

Carol leaves

A few minutes later

Alex walks down stairs

Lizzie: "mommy can i come with you to work  please"

Alex looks at lizzie

Alex: I'm not sure lizzie

Lizzie: "please mommy please"

Alex: "fine just this once, gather your bag so we can head out"

Once they arrive at stark industries

Alex: "hey pepper. I brought lizzie if that's alright"

Pepper: "it's no problem"

Lizzie runs up to pepper and hugs her

Lizze: "i missed you aunty"

Pepper: "so did i"

A couple hours later

Lizzie is drawing while alex is fixing flies

Alex: "ms potts i was wondering i  could get the day off tomorrow. I wanted to spend time with my mom"

Pepper: "sure that is no problem"

Alex: "i have to meet my mom downstairs really quick. She brought some stuff i forgot at her house yesterday"

Pepper: "go ahead alex"

As alex is walking downstairs

Alex: "why does this feel so familiar, its probably nothing. I have so much on my mind, it probably just feels like this has happened before"

Outside of stark industries

Alex: "hey mom thank you for bringing this stuff "

Maria: "it was no problem. Are we still spending tomorrow together"

Alex: "yes we are. Pepper just gave me the day off "

Maria: "i can't wait"

She hugs alex

Maria: "see you tomorrow alex"

Alex; "see you tomorrow mom "

Alex starts to walk back to the entrance of the building

Maria: "alex wait i forgot to give you one last thing"

Alex: "what is it mom? Mom what happening to your hands?!?"

Maria: "alex!"

She dusts away

Alex: "MOM?!?No no no my nightmare from a month ago"

Alex runs back in and into peper's office

Pepper: "are you okay alex?"

Alex holds her stomach

Alex: "p-pepper something is going on, my my mom"

Pepper rushes over to alex

Pepper: "what do you mean?"

They see some of the workers dust away

Pepper: "what's going on?"

Pepper looks at alex

She starts to dust away

Alex: "n-no no no. please no"

Alex starts running towards lizzie

Alex: "Li-"

She dusts away

Lizzie: "mommy?"

Pepper: "oh no"

Lizzie: "mommy mommy where did you go... aunty pepper"

Lizzie sees people dust away

Lizzie: "did, did my mommy end up like them?"

Pepper: "no no she didn't"

Lizzie: "aunty pepper you're lying"

Pepper: "lizzie stay here"

Pepper rushes over to her desk. She picks up her phone and tries to call tony but it goes to voicemail

Pepper: "oh no oh no"

Pepper calls steve

Steve: "hello"

Pepper: "Steve what is going on? Alex she dusted away"

Steve: "get to the compound we will talk there"

Pepper: "come on lizzie lets go home"

They get to the compound. Pepper walks in holding lizzie's hand

Lizzie: "momma"

She runs to carol

Carol: "lizzie you're safe"

She crouches down.

Carol hugs lizzie tightly. She then looks up at pepper

Carol: "pepper where is alex?"

Pepper: "what is going on many of my workers dusted away and so did alex so tell me what's going on"

Carol: "alex... alex dusted away... no no no no no"
