Ch 24

A couple of hours later

Alex is wandering around the ship when she sees goose. All of a sudden she sees tentacles coming out of goose's mouth which makes her scream. Carol comes running into the room

Carol: "what's wrong, what's wrong?"

Alex: "that- that cat had, what the fuck is wrong with that thing!"

Goose starts walking towards Alex

Alex hides behind carol

Alex: "oh hell no!"

Carol: "it's okay he won't hurt you"

Alex: "I saw tentacles come out of the mouth of that thing so no!"

Carol picks up goose

Carol: "Oh come on you're not scared of a cat are you"

Alex: "carol Danvers I swear to god if you don't get whatever the hell that thing is away from me i will punch you"

Carol: "oh come on he's just a cat"

Alex: "that is not a cat. a cat doesn't have tentacles that come out of its mouth"

Carol sets goose down on the floor

Carol: "okay okay he is not a cat, he's a flerken"

Alex: "a what?"

Carol: "alien that looks like a cat"

Alex: "CAROL WHY THE HELL DO YOU HAVE THAT HERE!"

Carol: "he's harmless"

Alex: i don't trust it

Carol laughs

The following morning. Alex is asleep peacefully, Carol wakes Alex up

Carol:"Alex...Alex love wake up"

Alex starts to wake up

Carol: "good morning"

Alex: "morning"

Carol kisses Alex

Carol: "We have to get ready to head back to the compound"

Alex: "why, I prefer it here"

Carol: "I know but we told the team we would come back today"

Alex groans

Carol: "come on"

She kisses Alex once more

Carol: "I'll make us some food before we go"

An hour later they return to the compound

Nat: "so how was it out there?"

Alex: "I loved it way more than here no an-"

Before she finishes her sentence Peter runs into the room

Peter: "if sam or bucky ever come in here please say that you didn't see me in here"

Wanda: "what did you do now peter ?"

Peter: "nothing"

He runs into the closet and shuts the doors

Alex looks at carol

Alex: "now do you see why I wanted to stay up in space"

They all laugh
