Chapter 48

Y/N: Ryker?

Ryker: That's right. Can ya walk?

Y/N: Yeah. Somewhat.

Ryker: Good. Then we can get right into your training.

Before Y/N could say anything, Ryker punched Y/N in the face sending him flying backward. Y/N skidded on the floor hitting a couple of small roots, bushes, rocks, and a few other things before coming to a stop. Y/N coughed up blood as some of it fell from his nose.

Ryker: Get up. Said walking towards him. I'm not one for wasting time.

Y/N grunted in pain feeling that his nose was broken. Right before he could get to his feet, Ryker slammed his foot down on him causing him to face plant into the ground.

Ryker: I told you to get up, so get up. Now! Said growling in anger.

Y/N struggled to get up but due to the size differences between them, it was rather difficult, almost impossible to do so.

Ryker: Are you even trying? Said a bit annoyed. You're starting to piss me off, kid.

Y/N gritted his teeth as he pulled out a kunai and stabbed Ryker's leg. Ryker was unfazed by this as he let out a sigh of disappointment.

Ryker: That the best you can do? A dull Kunai from the Leaf?

He kicked Y/N up in the air before slamming his head against a tree.

Ryker: Listen here, brat. You will be training under me for a whole week. As such you'll listen to whatever I say otherwise this will only be the beginning. Got it?

Y/N could only grunt in pain before he passed out. Ryker looked at him for a moment before sighing.

Ryker: Might have gone too far. Whatever. He'll be healed soon enough.

He let go of him as he carried him back to his house to be healed and get some rest. As for Kehira, he went to train under his master who was different from Ryker as his mentor was a wolf. Despite what was happening, Kehira knew a lot more of what was going on than he would let on.

Roughly two days went by as Y/N slowly started to wake up. When he opened his eyes, he felt his body in excruciating pain, feeling every part of his body as though it was broken.

Y/N: Damn. This freaking hurts.

???: Good. That's how pain is supposed to feel.

Y/N looked over to see Ryker sitting in front of the fireplace stoking the fire.

Ryker: Two days you've been asleep. That's two days of time wasted.

Y/N: Not my fault that happened. You caused this.

Ryker: Yet you were the one who failed to prevent it from happening. Said looking at him. You're far too weak to even learn the simplest techniques from me.

Y/N: What? Tiger Style? Just what the heck is that?

Ryker: You'll learn that when I think you're ready. Said as he stood up. Along with Sage Mode.

Y/N: Sage mode?

Ryker walked over to him as he formed a hand sign before placing it on his head. Y/N's body was surrounded by warm flames as all the pain vanished rather quickly. After a few moments, Ryker removed his hand as Y/N felt his body was never hurt, to begin with.

Ryker: Put that uniform on and follow me. Don't waste any time, got it? Said as he left.

Y/N watched him leave as he was rather annoyed.
