Chapter 60 Final

After everything was done, Kakashi went to report everything that happened. Including the death of Kehira as the sky above the lead was filled with dark clouds with the rain possibly pouring down at any moment.

Tsunade: So, Kehira was killed. Said rather sad.

Kakashi: That's right. After the appearance of the two and three tails casing all that destruction, his body was nowhere to be found. The only thing that remained was his headband that Y/N refused to let go of.

Tsunade: I see. Poor kid. I know that he lost both of his parents but now Kehira. I can't even imagine what he must be feeling right now.

Kakashi: I know. Kehira was the only family he had left in this world. With him gone, he's utterly devastated. I fear that he saw him die right in front of him, just like how his mother died.

Tsunade stayed quiet as she had no idea what to say.

Kakashi: What do you want me to do?

Tsunade: I want you to watch over him. As for Karin, I'll take care of her myself.

Kakashi: Alright. Have you figured out what to do since Danzo was behind all this?

Tsunade: I'll deal with him later. Let's just make sure Y/N doesn't go berserk.

Kakashi: Alright.

Meanwhile back at the hospital both Karin and Y/N getting treated. Karin recovered rather fast since she only had a few cuts on her as for Y/N, he had several spots that were burned badly as they were wrapped up. Shizune did Y/N's exam seeing how he was doing.

Shizune: Well, it seems like your injuries are recovering rather well. Just to be safe, you'll need to spend another night at the hospital.

Y/N remained silent with his hair covering his eyes. Shizune gathered her things and left the room. Before she left, she looked back at Y/N rather concerned about him as he was still holding Kehira's headband tightly in his hand. She walked out of the room, shutting the door behind her.

???: How is he?

Shizune looked to see Sakura walking up to her.

Shizune: He's alright. He needs to stay the night here. How's Karin doing?

Sakura: She's alright. Though with what happened to Kehira, she was utterly devastated.

Shizune: I see.

Sakura: What about Y/N?

Shizune stayed quiet before she spoke.

Shizune: Even with treating his injuries, his heart has a rather deep wound on it. It would be best just to leave him alone for a while.

Sakura: Ok.

Shizune walked past Sakura as she had to take care of other things. Sakura wanted to see how he was doing but decided not to since she knew about what happened to him years ago. As such, she went back to work leaving Y/N alone.

The news about Kehira's death spread throughout the village as everyone had their reaction to the news. As such, there was a funeral held for him as everyone in the village attended it. Karin and Y/N stood in front of their uncle's grave placing a flower down with everyone completely silent. Out of everyone in the village, Kehira's death was devastating to Karin but significantly more to Y/N as he had now spoken a word since then. Everyone started to leave after the funeral was done aside from Y/N who remained in front of his uncle's grave. Karin was about to say something to him but was stopped by Shizune who shook her head. She knew that she wanted to help him, to be there for him as she knew that he was deeply hurting inside. However, at this point, she would be doing more harm than good. Kakashi stayed behind as Zabuza and Asuma walked up to him.
