Chapter 16: New Boyfriend

I still can't believe Mino is right in front of me. This is like a dream come true to me. And he is even more handsome in person.

#Gun kept talking about No.Mercy but I couldn't even pay attention to what he was saying. Mino's beauty was distracting me too much and I couldn't stop staring at him. Then I see a hand waving at my face. "Hellooo. Earth to Abby." I look up and see that its #Gun. "I said I'm leaving now. Why don't you say goodbye? Have you forgotten about my existence?" he said. "Sorry. I was just..." "You were just what? Drooling over Mino? Look you even have some drool here." he pointed at a corner of my lip. "Really?!" I panicked and started wiping myself. "Ha! I was just kidding!" he said. "Ugh! I'm gonna get you later for this Gun!" "Whatever. But I gotta go now. So bye. You guys stay here and get to know eachother better." he winked and left.

Now I'm alone with...MINO.

"You can be comfortable with me." Mino said. "Really?" "Yeah. And you can call me oppa too." he smiled. "Oppa? Uhmm...but I'm actually older than you." "Really?! Wow. You have a baby face then. I thought you were even younger than Gun." "No. I'm 22." "Then I'll call you noona." I blushed. "You look cute when you blush." he said. And I blushed even more. It was getting hot in here. I started fanning myself. "You hot?" he asked. "Not as hot as you." it slipped out my mouth..."Did I just say that out loud?! Omg! I'm sorry!" I said. "It's okay." he laughed. "Hey don't laugh! Your making me feel like a fool." "Its just that your very charming Abby. You seem like a fun person. I would like to get to know you more. Would you like to go out with me?" Omg! Did I just hear right?! Did Mino just asked me out right now?! "Go out? With you? Me?" "Yeah. Your cute and I think we can get along well. So what do you say? Want to be Song Mino's girlfriend?" "Yes! Of course!" "Okay. So its official now. How bout we have our first real date tomorrow?" "Sure." "Give your number and I'll text you the time and place later." I gave him my number.

I checked my watch and saw that it was time to go back to work. "Mino I have to go to work now. My lunch break is over. But it was really nice meeting you. And I'm looking forward to our date tomorrow." "Okay. And I'll make sure to make a fun date for you. Bye." he hugged me and gave me a kiss on the cheek. And I gave him a kiss on the cheek too. "Bye." I said and left.

I still can't believe Mino just asked me out! And this means I can now break up with Donghyun! I don't know what made me happier, the fact that I was now Mino's girlfriend or the fact that I will now be able to break up with Donghyun. Dating Mino is like a dream come true. And dating Donghyun was like a living nightmare. My life just flipped completely. Now I just hope I can find real happiness soon.

I got back to work and I couldn't stop smiling. But then while walking in a hallway I bumped into Donghyun. "What are you smiling about?" he asked. "I'll tell you later after work." I said. "Okay. You want to go on a date tonight?" he asked. "Sure." I said. It was gonna be our last date anyways and I could tell him about Mino then. "We'll go to the movies after work then." "I don't really feel like watching a movie tonight. How bout we go to a restaurant?" I said. I just felt like the movies wasn't a good place to talk. And I needed to talk to him to tell him that I have met Mino already and that he is my boyfriend now. "Okay. What restaurant you want to go to?" he asked. "I feel like eating Italian." "Okay. I'll take you to an Italian restaurant I know a few blocks from here."

It was 7pm and we had arrived at the restaurant. There were a lot of people so Donghyun asked for a place with more privacy since he wouldn't want to be bothered by fans. We then got escorted to the loft area for V.I.P's. And a few minutes later we got our food. "So what is the reason you were smiling? You told me you will tell me later and it is later now." Donghyun spoke up. "Well guess who I met today?" "Who?" "I said guess." "Okay. Well give me a clue." "The person has a 4 letter name." "Dara?" "Nope." "Suzy?" "Nope." "Hani?" "Nope." "GaIn?" "Nope." He was getting annoyed. "Then who? Just tell me. There's a lot of people with 4 letter names." "It is a guy. And his name starts with the letter M." He was starting to get nervous. He grabbed his wine and started drinking it. "And he is the only one that can end our relationship." I said. He spit out his wine and he was choking on himself. "Mino?!" he yelled. "Yup. I met Mino today. And guess what he asked me?" "What?" "Guess." "Yah! I will not keep playing your guessing games! Just tell me!" "He asked me if I wanted to be his girlfriend and I of course said yes. So now we are over! And you can't hold me back anymore cuz this was our deal!" "But I didn't think you would ever actually meet him..." "Well I did! So bye now!" I stood up and poured my glass of wine on him and left.
