Chapter 17: Date With Mino

I was getting ready to go to sleep when I hear my cellphone *ding*. I checked it and it was a text from Mino.

"Hey Abby. I hope your still awake. Sorry for texting you so late but I just got done with rehearsal right now."
"I'm awake. And its okay. I know your busy."
"During all of the rehearsal I've been planning out our date. And I have a surprise planned out for you. But first we will have our date before that surprise. So for our date could we meet at 1? I know its too early of a time for a date but I have a schedule later that day."
"Yeah. 1 is fine. Where should we meet?"
"I'll pick you up at your dorm. Is that okay?"
"Yeah, that fine. But how should I dress? Should I dress casual or elegant?"
"Something in between."
"Okay."
"See you tomorrow then. Good night."
"Good night."

I set my alarm for 9am and went to sleep.

"Rrrring Rrrring Rrrring Rrrring"
I rolled over on my bed and turned off my alarm. I got up and went to take a shower. It took me about 25 minutes and then I got out. And now comes the hard part with picking out my outfit. I walked to my closet and looked through my clothes. Should I wear something girly? Something sexy? Something cute? I thought long and hard about it and decided to go with something girly. I would dress sexy but then I might come off a bit too strong. And I was too old for cute.

I picked out a lavender color velvet blouse and a gray pencil skirt. Then I put on some gray color wedges. And as for accessories I put on a lavender color headband, lavender color earrings, some silver bangles, and a black leather handbag. And for my hair I decided to curl it. For makeup I put on a bit of light gray eyeshadow, mascara, pale pink blush, and pale pink lipstick.

It was 12:30 when I finished getting ready. So while I waited for Mino to get here I took some selfies and posted them on my Instagram. I put in the description "Ready for my date with Mino!" Then a few minutes later I start getting comments. The first comment was from my sister Haydee, "you look pretty sis!". Then the second comment was from my brother Aaron, "What happened with Donghyun? Aren't you dating him?". Then the third comment was from CL, "OMG! SO YOU'VE FINALLY MET HIM NOW?! CONGRATS! TAKE LOTS OF PICS ON YOUR DATE AND SEND THEM TO ME! AND THEN CALL ME TO TELL ME HOW YOUR DATE WENT!". And then the fourth comment was from #Gun, "Have fun noona! Mino is a great guy!". I was about to reply to the comments but then I heard a knock on the door. I went to open the door and it was Mino. He was wearing a white short sleeved V-neck shirt with a gray vest, black skinny jeans, and gray converse. He looked really good. He had a bouquet of daisies in his hand with a white medium size teddy bear and he gave them to me. "Annyeong Abby! You look really pretty! You ready for our date?" he smiled. "Thank you. You look really handsome too. And yeah, I'm ready. So where are we going?" "You'll see. Its a surprise." he winked. "Is it the surprise you were talking about?" "Nah. The other surprise is more special and I think you will really like it." "You are so mysterious Song Mino." He took my hand and we went down the staircase. And in the parking lot there was a red Corvette. It was his car. He opened the door for me and then he got in. "Nice car." I said. "Thanks." he smiled. His smile is killing me. His lips are so sexy and his teeth are so beautiful. "You want to listen to some music? Its gonna be a long drive." he said. "How long?" I asked. "About 40 minutes." "Okay. Can I plug in my ipod?" "Sure. But what type of music you like?" "You'll see. But first I'll play the song I listen to the most." I took out my ipod and plugged it in. And I scrolled down to find my favorite song of all time. "Hey thats my solo song!" Mino yelled excitedly. He turned up the volume and started rapping. He looked so cute that it made me laugh. But I started rapping along and dancing. "Hey your a good rapper! I didn't know you could rap!" Mino said. "Thank you. I actually can't really sing but I guess I'm okay at rapping." "Just okay? I think you are great! Your almost as good as CL! And if you practice a bit more you can probaly even become a better rapper than her!" "Thanks. And CL is my friend so don't be saying those things. CL was actually the one that got me into rap and I really look up to her and admire her rapping." "I think me, you, and CL should make an album. An album from all three of us would definetely make it #1 on the charts." "But I'm not even signed with any labels." "Well you should audition for YG. I bet you can make it as a rapper. Want me to get you an audition at YG?" "I don't know. I would have to think about it." "Well if you ever decide on becoming a rapper just let me know." "I will. Thanks."

The rest of the ride we listened to 2NE1, Super Junior, BTS, Crayon Pop, VIXX, BEAST, Infinite, and of course more WINNER songs.

After 40 minutes of driving we got to the ocean. It looked really beautiful. And it was sunny so I could see the ocean sparkling. And the sound of the waves was so calming. "Woah Mino! You sure do know how to pick out a place for a date!" "And this is not even all. This is just the beggining of our date. Theres more surprises to come." he winked. "You are the best Song Mino!" I went to hug him. He hugged me back and started stroking my hair. Once we pulled apart from the hug he took my hand and we started walking towards a dock. "Where are we going?" I asked. "To a cruise ship!" "Omg! Really?! I've always wanted to get on a cruise ship! But I never thought the first time I got on one would be with Mino from WINNER! This is definitely the best day of my life! A perfect place and with a perfect guy! What more could a girl ask for? Thank you Mino!" I gave him a kiss on the cheek. "A hug for bringing you to the ocean and a kiss for taking you on a cruise ship. And this is not even the best part of our day together. I wonder what you will do when you know about the surprise later." he said. I blushed.

We got o the cruise ship. It was really big. But I noticed something strange...THERE WERE NO PEOPLE! I turned to look everywhere but all I could see were employees. "Did you rent out the whole cruise ship?!" I yelled with widened eyes. "Yup. Its just you, me, the captain, and the employees." "This is too much for a first date Mino! You are the best boyfriend ever! I seriously don't know what I'll do if you keep on surprising with more things!"

On the cruise ship the first thing we did was go sightseeing. Everything looked so beautiful. But Mino kept fooling around the whole time. And once when I was standing at the edge of the ship Mino stood behind me and stretched my arms out and then he did so too and he started humming the Titanic song. He was such a silly boy. But he was a really fun person to be around with.

Then he took me to the dining area where there was a small round table with a white tablecloth and two chairs. We sat down and a waiter came out with food and wine. It was steak and red wine. Then a guy came and started playing the violin. Then after we were done eating we went to go sightseeing again.

Once it was 6pm Mino told me that we had to go now because of his schedule. But he said there was still my surprise. So we got on his car and drove back for another 40 minutes.

This was truly an amazing date! The best date I have ever had in my entire life! And there is still that surprise left that Mino said! I Wonder what that surprise is! He did say it was gonna be the best part of our day together but I don't know what can be better than a cruise ship! So I'm really excited to find out what Mino has to surprise me with!
