Chapter 40: Breakfast Together

By the time our date was over it was 11pm and by then there were only two paparazzi following us. iKON's manager had come to pick us up so we left in the black van we had came in. I had fallen asleep on the way. And I woke up with a kiss on the lips from Donghyuk. "Wake up sweetie. We're here." I was confused for a second but then I looked around and saw that we were at the dorms. I grabbed my pig bunny and got out the van. Donghyuk followed after. We got to my dorm and I was about to go in when Donghyuk stopped me. "I had a great time with you tonight. Your a really great girl. And I was wondering if we could go out for lunch tomorrow. We could go eat at my parents restaurant. I would love for them to meet you." "Sorry, I can't." "Why not? You don't want to meet my parents? I'm sure they'll love you. And I think you'll get along great with them." "Its not that..." "Then what is it?" "I have plans to eat with some people..." "Oh." "I'm sorry but maybe some other time. Okay?" "Its okay. And you should go to sleep now. Its getting late." "Okay. Good night." I gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Good night." he blushed. I went in and Donghyuk went next door to his dorm.

The next morning I woke up at the usual time. I'm already getting used to waking up this early. I even wake up before the alarm goes on. And as always the first thing I did was take a shower. But when I got out to change I hear someone knocking. I quickly grab a towel to cover myself and go to open the door. I stay behind the door and just stick my head out. It was Donghyuk. "Hey Abby. Since you wanted some sweatpants and couldn't find any at the boutique yesterday, I brought you these." He extended his arms out, he was holding some sweatpants. "Thanks but could you maybe bring them in yourself? I'm sorta using my hands right now..." I open the door fully. Donghyuk sees me in the towel and starts looking nervous. He looked as if he was trying not to look but I caught him taking a few peeks. He walked to my living room and puts the sweatpants on top of the coffee table. "Thank you." "Your welcome." Donghyuk walked towards the door and was about to leave. "Wait. Since your here already would you like to have breakfast together?" I felt bad for rejecting that lunch date he wanted to have today. So instead I could make it up to him with breakfast. "Sure." He smiled. "Okay. Well if you could just turn around for a bit while I change. Then I'll cook us some breakfast." "Okay." He turned facing the wall. I had just folded some laundry in the living room yesterday so I had clothes on the couch. I took off the towel and picked out a bra and underwear. The I grab a t-shirt and lastly I put on the sweatpants. The sweatpants fit me a bit big though. "You can turn around now." He turns around. "The sweatpants fit you big. Sorry about that. I'll buy you some new ones in your size later. Those sweatpants are mine but they fit me small now. But you can tighten them, they have this thing in the waist." I look down and see theres one of those string things that are to tighten. I pull at the string and tie it. "So what shoes are you gonna wear?" Donghyuk looks down at my bare feet. "I think I'll wear the black ones." "Then I'll wear those too." I look down at Donghyuk's feet and see him wearing some Pororo slippers. I started laughing. "What are you laughing about?" "Your slippers". "Oh. I forgot I was wearing these." He turned red of embarrassment. "Its okay. I just never imagined you would wear something like this. I think its cute though. I like guys that have a child like side to them." "Then if you think its cute and like them I'll start wearing them more often." "Don't the guys make fun of you though?" "Not really. Some of the other guys even have Pororo underwear." "Omg! That I would love to see!" "Really?! Then would you like me to go and get a pair to wear for you?" "Not right now hot stuff. We gotta eat." He blushed when I said hot stuff. I love making him blush. He looks cute.

I went to the kitchen and took out some toast, eggs, and bacon. I even took out some oranges to make some freshly squeezed orange juice. "We're gonna have some American style breakfast. And next time I'll make you some Mexican style breakfast." "Cool. Want me to help you cook?" "Nah. This is easy stuff I can do it myself. But if we ever have dinner together I'll make you something more fancy." "Okay. Well I'll help you later when we have that dinner." "I'll keep that in mind. Thanks. And you can go watch tv while I cook. I'll call you when the food is ready." "Okay." He went to the living room and turned on the tv. I think it was one of those Entertainment news show that was on right now.

The first thing I made was the orange juice. I made enough for 4 glasses. I'll go give one glass to Donghyuk right now and he'll have another later when we eat. As for me I'll have one glass when we eat and the other later when I get back from training. I served one glass of juice and went to go take it to Donghyuk. "Heres one glass of juice for my honey. And its just as sweet as you." "Thank you but I think your even sweeter." He winked. He took a sip of the juice. I was about to go back to the kitchen but on tv there were showing some photos and video footage of me and Donghyuk yesterday! I stood and watch as they talked about us. Then the show hosts started reading some comments that people had left about us. Some comments were positive and others were negative. But most of the people were curious about me and they wanted to know more about me. And the fact that people were interested in knowing about me made me nervous. From now on there will be people watching everything I do and judging my every move. How do idols put up with it all? I looked at the clock and saw that it was getting late so I went back to cook. I started with the bacon then once that was done I made the eggs. I suck at cooking two things at once so thats why I made one at a time. Plus eggs are faster to make. But what I did do while making the eggs is I put the bread in the toaster. I made two eggs for Donghyuk and one for me. And two slices of bread for Donghyuk and one for me. I don't really like to have big breakfasts. I set the two plates on the table. And in the middle I put the plate where I left all the bacon all together. "Food is ready!" Donghyuk came over and sat at the table. We started eating and Donghyuk complimented my cooking. "This is good. Your a good cook." "Thanks but this is really nothing. Anyone cane make eggs and bacon." "Not anyone. Most of the guys in iKON can't even cook this. They always end up burning everything." "Well I could go over to your dorm and cook for you guys." "Nah. Let those lazy guys cook for themselves and just cook for me. We can have our breakfast together here every morning." "I see you don't like to share me." "Well of course. This pretty lady is all mine." "Well I'm not ALL yours." "Not all but soon you will be." He winked. "Not if I don't want to." "I'll make you want to." "How?" "By seducing you." "Well seducing doesn't always work. Especially if the person you are trying to seduce already likes someone else. Belive me, I once tried seducing someone that already loved someone else and it didn't work. But go ahead and try if you want. I'll love to see how you try to seduce me." "Challenge accepted." He smirked.
