"Are you sure you know what you're doing?"

Liv asked her bestfriend as she dipped her finger into the bowl of frosting, he had made while frosting the rest of his mom's cake.

"Girl you know I got skills"

"Mhm, whatever you say Mr. James" She whispered in his ear walking past him retrieving her phone from the counter.

"Ay you know what I was thinking? We should play that graduation anthem when my mom gets there" He suggests as he starts humming the melody to here comes the bride. Liv had her finger in her mouth as she grabbed a water from the fridge pushing her brows up and down as she eased it out of her mouth listening to him hum the wrong ballad.

"Ummm Spence, that's the wedding song" He stopped falling silent and pursing his lips, feeling a little embarrassed.

"Oh...my bad"

"You'll get it don't worry, aww, it's okay babe" She comforted him rubbing his arm as he put the finishing touches on the cake smacking the knife, he was frosting with on the counter stepping away from his masterpiece.

"Aight, what you think?"

"Wow, that is.... really good, like amazingly good, hold on, you've done this before haven't you?" Olivia smirked at him pushing her hands to her hip as he looked up at her putting his hands on the edges of the island.

"I mean maybe once, for my mom's birthday" He lied as Liv crossed her arms arching her brow at him knowing he wasn't being truthful.

"Okay and maybe for all of Dillon's birthdays. I just know you've been having an hard time lately with all the stuff in the media with that video, and I wanted to take your mind off of it" She caressed his cheek with an smile falling from her lips.

"You did, you made me feel a lot better actually, not the first time you've succeeded in that, so thank you"

He smiled biting his lip gazing at her with his daring eyes as she slowly walked over to her side of the island, and she met him in the middle. Their lips barely touched before the buzzing of his phone filled their ears, interrupting their moment. As he pulled his phone out of his pocket, Liv took it tossing it onto the counter then bringing her face back to his, with their noses inches apart.

"Whatever that was, it can wait"

She leaned in kissing his lips and he lifted her up in his arms, setting her atop of the island as she wrapped her arms around his neck with him standing between her legs. He kissed her neck softly earning a moan as her lips found his again.
