A/N: Lotta angst, little spice, lotta emotions. Consider this your friendly warning ! Enjoy the intro to my next mini series!!

The bulky metal double doors of the hospital flew wide open as Olivia scurried into the entrance with her tear-stained face as an guest. Shiny black heels rapidly shuffled against the tiled hardwood floor, taking an sharp turn down the long hallway. She kept her hands folded in front of her as she tried to prevent her mind from traveling to worst case scenarios. She wiped the tears that were continuously leaking out of her eyes, with no end. Olivia didn't know what happened but the minute she got that phone call, she stopped everything she was doing to make it down here. She inhaled sharply, holding onto the last inkling of hope she had as she finally reached the main receptionist desk.

"Excuse me! Excuse me ma'am! Can you please help me?!"

She announced her presence startling the medical receptionists taking space at their computer desks. Both of her palms crashed onto the sides of their working space, her body leaning over them.

"Okay calm down honey, what seems to be the problem?"

One receptionist stood from her seat coming from behind her station and Olivia's aide.

"I'm looking for an Spencer James he was just admitted about an hour ago, slim built uhm, dark-toned he plays football professionally and-"

The receptionist couldn't get an word out as she eyed the frazzled woman who was speaking rapidly at her.

"Okay okay, slow down an second sweetie, just breathe for an second"

"You don't understand I have to see him! Where is he?!"

She shouted from the top of her voice, trying to push past the lady. The worker held her by the elbows, stilling her movement.

"Hey, hey I understand how you feel, and I assure you that I will find out everything there is to know about this patient, but right now, I need you to take an moment, pause and breathe with me"

The lady tried to encourage. She kept shaking her head as more tears spilled out, Olivia nearly falling to her knees, thinking of him comatose in that bed.

"I can't do this. I-I can't lose him" She choked out, the medical lady clasping their hands together.

"Everything's going to be fine honey. Tell me your name, can you tell me your name?"

Olivia huffed out an breath, slowly pushing it out of her lungs with tears glossing over her eyes as her face met up with the medical assistant.

"Olivia"

"Hi, Olivia, my name is Miah. Now Olivia, I promise you were gonna figure this out together but before I search this patient up, I need you to breath with me, you think you can do that for me?"

Her tear-filled eyes lifted up, silently agreeing with an gentle head nod.

"Great, on my go, I want you to breath in for 4 counts, hold it for 7, and then out for 8"

Miah's hand went to her back as an form of comfort as she stood beside her, doing the exercise, watching the rise and fall of her chest, Olivia eyes focused on her the entire time. By the 8th out count, the tension in her chest had fully subsided.

"You did great, Olivia. Now, tell me the first and last name of the patient you want to see?"

After calming her down, Miah walked back over to her desk, sitting in front of her computer, opening up the hospital patient search engine database.

"Spencer James" Olivia says, her palms now resting on the side of her waist. Miah's fingers typed away as her eyes remained on the screen. The constant clicks rattled Olivia's nerves and peace of mind an little bit, especially when she had no idea what she would be walking into, minutes from now once she finally got to see him.
