Nobody But You

Spencer was relaxed, sitting on the edge of his bed when he heard a light knock at the door. He stood up to answer it, opening it to Olivia's face behind it. She admired her from head to toe as she stood before him, wearing black jeans, and short-sleeve white lacey crop-top with her black sparkly purse cuffed to the side.

"Hey what's up"

"Heyyyy, I need to ask you something" Liv walked in freely setting her purse down on the couch as he closed the door behind them, turning around to face her.

"Aight, what's up?" She turned playing with her hands in front of her and her head kinda tilted over.

"Why did you fall back after Bringston? I know we said stuff about just being caught up in the moment, but we both know that's both of us just trying to save face. So, I want the truth"

"Your recovery comes first, Liv, and as much as I love you, and want to be with you, that matters more, and I won't compromise that for nothing"

He told her firmly as she nodded her head smiling. He knows what I need and that's why he's pulling away, not because he doesn't want to be with me, because he knows what's important for me to focus on.

"I figured you would say something like that, now let me ask you this. What if I told you that I could be with you and still put my recovery first?"

She placed her hands behind her back rocking herself back and forth a little, feeling kinda jittery in her stance, awaiting the fate of his next answer that could determine everything else for them going forward. Spencer smiled tearfully as his heartbeat quickened clearing his throat.

"I um...I'd say it's about damn time, we got our shot at happiness"

She smiles as her steps pace toward him, and she grabs his face as they fall into a deep kiss. She finds herself wrapping her arms around his neck while he pressed his hands on her back before taking her by surprise lifting her up in the air in his arms.

"C'mere girl!"

She squealed as she used his shoulders for balance when he scooped her up. He spun them around making her giggle and her curls bounce before slowing down meeting her eyes deeply and intensely.

"I can't believe you came"

"I kept you and I waiting long enough. I'm not going another day without you, rules be damned"

A grin graced his lips.

"Rules be damned"

They smiled before sealing their love with another deep kiss that found its way to his bedroom.
