"You guys get home safe, alright, goodnight"
Olivia waves goodbye to the final guests in her home left from Grace and Carter's rehearsal dinner. Heaving out an long sigh as she closed and locked the door, her mind wandered off into the events of today. She didn't know what was worse, being the host for her ex's mom, the catastrophe of an game night in their friend group tonight at the beach house, having to be around her ex and his family the entire time, or learning that her ex was talking to somebody new. She knew deep down she shouldn't feel some type of way about this, but she couldn't help it. Her and Spencer had only been broken up for two weeks and that's all it took for him to move on from her. Least that's what she was telling herself. While he's going out to parties living his best life, meeting and probably hooking up with other females, she was spending her nights thinking about the curves of his face and his smile. The way he would hold her at night so tightly to his chest when they cuddled, and how tender his lips would be when he kissed her.
She hated that she cried out his name every night.
She hated that she yearned for his touch.
She hated that she still looked for him on campus.
She hated that knowing he was with another woman killed her on the inside.
She hated that despite all of that, she still missed him.
Wanted him.
And would take him back in an heartbeat without thinking twice.
She hated how much she loves him.
But she does and she couldn't pretend like she didn't. Even when the object of her affection was begging her to. The mind and heart weren't on one accord, leaving the young woman between an rock and hard place. Removing those thoughts temporarily, she busied herself with the aftermath of the festivities, picking up an empty trash bag, throwing everything on the counter into it. She made her way around the kitchen, discarding the plastic champagne glasses, solo cups, and leftover plates. Turning an little corner heading towards the dishwasher to put away the clean dishes, three solid knocks coming from her childhood home's entrance caused her to walk towards it. Looking through the peephole recognizing the face on the other side, she turned the lock, opening the door. Heat pooled between her legs as she locked eyes with her ex, taking in his appearance for almost the fourth time tonight. Giving her heart palpitations, mesmerized as he stood before her with chocolate eyes that could tame her, smooth black jeans, white J's on his feet, shiny silver, and black Rolex on his wrist, with an black and dark grey long sleeve buttoned down fitting firmly on his build. Her brown eyes traveled up and down his frame, meeting back up with his well groomed face.
"Hey, hope you don't mind, I followed you just to make sure you made it back safely"
"Stalker much?"
She joked, leaning her slim thick body against the door frame, one arm angled up.
"Not at all, just making sure you good"
"Uh huh, and what else brings you by?"
Smacking her lips as she turned around, going back to her task. Spencer licked his lips watching the curves of her backside as he followed her in, zeroing in on her ass and the toned legs adorning her freakum dress. Trailing behind her, he shook his head with an laugh wondering if she had worn that dress just to torture him. If that was the case, mission accomplished because he was ready to combust. Her wicked smile spread across her features knowing he was checking her out, but she paid him no mind directing her focus on cleaning the place up.
"I already told you why ba-Liv. Besides, you look like you could use an hand in here"
Clearing his throat.
