Hii, hello, new and old readers, lol. I've been gone I know but here I am with another update for ya'll. Happy reading!

Sixteen Months Ago, Same Night

"Tell him how you feel Olivia. You'll never know, until you give it an try"

"What if he doesn't listen?"

"Then you make him hear you..."

Noah's words echoed in her ear as she drove through the familiar city streets. After letting her cry in his arms for half an hour, she managed to pick herself up long enough to drive home before it got later in the night. She screamed internally as she pulled up to their driveway, noticing the spot where his range rover would be was empty. She put her car in park, lifting her wrist up to her face, clocking the time. 9:36pm. An sigh slipped out, resting her head back, exiting out of her car and entering her home. She walked over to the fridge, throwing the keys to the side, pulling out an fresh bottle of stella black and clean glass from the cabinet. She lifted the top, tilting her glass as she poured into it. Her lips attached to the glass as she took an sip, exhaling, and loving the fruity taste on her tongue. Putting the bottle back, she made her way over to the sofa, crossing one leg over the other, sinking deeper into the material, waiting for him to walk through that door. As the clock ticked over to 12:36am, Olivia heard the struggle of someone pushing the keys into the door. Spencer walked into the darkness, kicking off his J's, heading for the stairs. Olivia's fingers wrapped around the lamp string, turning it on. Spencer jumped, clutching his chest, squinting his eyes from the light.

"He finally decides to show his face..." Liv's voice startles him as he turns her way.

"Your still awake? I thought- "

"Disappointed cuz you can't sneak into our bed again on another night like this?" She asked rhetorically throwing arms to the chest.

"I thought you'd still be working late at the office or asleep...."

"Guess I'm full of surprises then. Where you been?"

"You know where I was Olivia" Rotating his eyes to the back of his head.

"If I knew where you were Spencer, I wouldn't have to ask you. What I do know is that you weren't here.... with me...." He avoided her eyes, pushing his hand to his forehead.

"Listen can we do this later? I'm really tired and I just wanna go to bed right now" He moved back to the stairs.

"You know.... I was really looking forward to tonight. You knew how much this meant for us and still, you bailed" She admits out loud. Part of her was upset with him for falling through on their plans and the other was truly concerned for his well-being, she just didn't know which side was stronger.

"Look I forgot okay, it slipped my mind" His shoulders lifted to his ears.

"Slipped your mind? Are you serious?" Her fury began to resurface which became evident in the tone she was using with him.

"Yes Olivia, I simply forgot aight, what do you expect me to do here?" She scoffed lightly at his answer seeing him put his elbow on the railing of the stairs nonchalantly. She had her arms crossed, marching over to where he was standing.

"What do I expect you to do? I expect you to show up.  I expect you to actually care about what's happening with us. I expect you to act like I matter to you. I EXPECT you to start acting like my husband Spencer! Where's he at, hm?" Darting her eyes at him with her cheeks puffed out.

"This again, nah I'm not bout to do this here. I'm not equipped to have this conversation with you, not right now and certainly not tonight. I'm going to bed!" He announces turning on his heel making his way up the staircase.
