Hi loves! I posted this already on my twitter account but I decided to post it here too for those who may haven't seen it. Just an short one shot coming from times in London. Story update coming soon! enjoy!

"Spencer, I don't think I can leave yet. I need to stay. I like who I am here, and I don't think I'm done.... exploring that"

Those words replayed in the young athletes mind, his heart not catching up with his thoughts. Beads of sweat dripped from his face, sprinting up the steep hill, step by step. His pace quickened as the shining of the sun glowed on his skin in the London streets. Blowing off steam after an fight with Olivia that ended with him slamming the hotel door behind him, he couldn't help but draw back to the argument at hand. Her eyes and face burning an hole in his brain.

"You can't be serious Liv...."

"I know it sounds like an lot but please try to understand...."

She reached for his hand with him jerking it back.

"Understand what? We have already spent 8 months apart with our breakup and your time here combined, now you're telling me you wanna take more time away from me? Away from us?"

Both set of eyes welled up with tears. The room fell into an uncomfortable silence, distance between the lovers evident as they looked off into the space. Spencer nodded his head, grabbing his phone and headphones off the table, practically running towards the door. Olivia followed behind him, tugging at his shirt.

"Where are you going?"

"Right now I just need an minute. Going for an run"

He disappeared into the hallway, Olivia sighing heavily as she watched him with disappointment.

Shaking himself out of his head, he brought himself back to the present, determined to finish his work out once some other thoughts roamed in his mind.

"Truth is, I've been miserable without you baby"

"I've been miserable without you too"

"I'mma be right here when you get back okay"

He exhaled his nerves out as he turned the corner in the hallway of the floor of Olivia's temporary living quarters. Cracking the door open, his ears perked up to the low rumbles of sniffles coming from the bed. Olivia's eyes set back on him the minute she noticed his presence. His orbs softened into the light glow of her own, crossing the floor, standing in front of her, bending to her level. He caressed her cheek, wiping the tears with his thumbs, pressing his lips to the side of her head, lulling her into his chest. She settled into his embrace as he wrapped both arms around her back. He rubbed her backside in circles as the tears built up, then fell hard down the side of her profile. He soothed her cries with his whispers of words. Mutual I'm sorry's in the mix. Finding his strength again, he pulled her face back up to look at him. Her hand held the back of the one placed on her cheek.

"I'm sorry for storming out like that, I was just upset and your news kinda took me by surprise"

"I know Spencer, it caught you off guard and I apologize for that. I just wanted to be honest with you" He nods, pulling her up, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"How long until you can come home?"

"An year. But if you really don't want me to stay then I won't Spencer. Me being here in London, yes, I love it, but you mean more to me than this internship and I'd rather lose it than you, again"

"You didn't lose me, and you never will, but I can't let you make sacrifices on my behalf. You saying you gotta do this, then you have to stay. There's no other option"

She grew apprehensive by his response, creating space, taking his hands in hers.

"And what about us?"

He drew her in closer, kissing her knuckles, gazing up at her beautiful browns once more.

"We'll figure it out. Video calls, text messages, we can even write to each other back and forth, mail pictures, were gonna make it happen, because we love each other"

"If you loved me, you would've showered when you came in here before touching me"

Her nose wrinkled as he rolled his eyes playfully.

"And leave you wallowing in your own puddle of tears? Spencer James would never. Now gimme some sugar baby"

"After you shower"

She deadpanned until he charged towards her, giggling as he picked her up from the ground, circling her legs around his torso.

"We can kill two birds with one stone if you join me"

With an glint in her eye and an smirk, her lips touched his, sparkling into passion as he carried them both to the shower.

"I love you" She whispered against his lips.

"I love you"

Thank you for supporting me, even though I could tell it was hurting you. I love you Spencer, it's only one year, and I promise.... nothing's going to change
