The couple contemplated on the answer to this question separately in their home, one upstairs, the other downstairs. Spencer kept his focus on the ceiling with his hands folded across his lap while Olivia swiped the fog from her mirror, tightening the towel around her waist, relieving the hair tie from her bun. She pressed her hands on either side of the sink, peering down. Her eyes felt heavy as they slowly closed, letting her mind travel to a passing moment in her relationship, she wishes now, that she didn't ignore.

Flashback- Months Ago

"Has it been two minutes?"

"Liv...." Her boyfriend's voice trailed as his girlfriend paced the floor. Her hands stayed to her hips as she did circles around him.

"I'm just saying, whats the hold up? Not like we haven't been sitting here in this bathroom for ten minutes or anything"

"It's been like five for one, and for two, we just put it down on the countertop not even thirty seconds ago Liv, just relax," The nervous athlete tried calming his girlfriend as they awaited the results. Waiting for the timer to go off felt more excruciating for Olivia then Spencer. Sure he had some hesitancy and nervousness about the unknown of these results, but it didn't compare when it came to her.

"What are we going to do?"

"Liv come on..." Her boyfriend started before he was cut off again.

"I've just gotten to an place where I feel confident with my role as an student journalist and athletes girlfriend. Footballs keeping you very occupied, in more ways then I like an-"

"More ways then you like?" Spencer stood up, that statement catching his attention. Olivia paused in motion, recognizing the slight sadness in her boyfriends's eyes, yet she chose to lower her own gaze instead.

"You know what I mean....but as I was saying, we are already leading such busy lives, we barely have time for our own relationship, what in the world are we gonna do with an newborn?" A lonely tear fell to her chin as she crossed her arms looking over to the side. Spencer approached her, placing his hands to her shoulders.

"Listen babe, if thats what you and I have to deal with, then we'll cross that bridge when we get to it, but until then, lets just focus on the now, okay?" He rubbed her shoulders with his thumb seeing the rise and fall of her chest, her worry coming down a little. She reached up to one of her shoulders to take his hand, bringing it down.

"Your right....I don't wanna freak out if we don't have to, it's just....a lot to think about" Spencer nods, kissing the inside of her palm as she gave him an small smile in return. Just as they were getting comfortable, the panic settled back in as the ding of the timer went off. Nausea danced in the pit of Olivia's stomach as she slowly removed her hands from Spencers walking over to the sink. Her eyes peered over, taking the pink and white stick in her hand. Spencer's cool and calm exterior began to fade witnessing the sad facial expression his girlfriend was showing as she lifted the test to her face.

"I know your not just gonna leave me hanging here, it's positive isn't it?" He stressed as she walked to him, placing it in his hand.

"It's negative" He looked down with an smile before wrapping his arms around her waist letting her arms fall around his neck.

"Whew, that was an close one, thank the Lord babe" He squeezed her excitedly. She pecked his neck hugging him even tighter with an fixed look on her face.

"Yeah....thank the lord" He pulled back from the hug meeting her eyes.

"I was scared for an moment, because I'm not going to lie, football is going so well for me and school and, I'm glad we don't have to worry about this....but maybe from now on, we should go back to using condoms or getting you back on the pill, what do you think?" Olivia's face was vacant of any emotion as her head was turned away from him. He turned her chin with his finger.
