A/N: This will be one of three ways I plan to pay homage to our Billy Baker. I hope you guys enjoy it.

The state of California is known for its hot temperatures, and blue skies, but not on this particular evening. An storm was raging, probably the worst one the state has ever experienced in an long period of time. Droplets of rain soared through the dark clouds above the city as the people swarmed and weaved their way through traffic, trying to get home to their families. Gusty winds and icy cold air spread like wildfire with thunder and lightning as the added bonus. Rain was so heavy, puddles of water started to form in the streets and sidewalks. While there was an uproar happening outdoors, there was another disturbance brewing inside the home of Spencer and Olivia.

"You did what?!"

"Before you go off the deep end, just hear me out...."

Spencer cautioned, lifting one hand to the air surrounding them, as his fiancée busied her own with folding the laundry, she just got done washing.

"Hear you out about your decision to want to be traded to another team in another state, without my knowledge or input? You do realize how crazy that sounds right?"

"What part of hear me out didn't you understand?"

He says as she shoots him an glare, folding one towel into two, slowly crossing her arms and turning to face him. She motions silently with her hands for him to continue, slapping her leg along the way as he speaks.

"Remember when we used to stay up all night in your room back in high school talking about what we saw for our future? Me wanting to get out of my Crenshaw bubble? You wanting to travel the world with your voice in the writing world?" Olivia's eyes darted, unfolding her arms.

"Yeah, I remember that conversation....in high school Spence....and maybe that dream was visible then, but things change, people change. So much has happened since then..."

"I know, but my desire to leave Crenshaw hasn't. Look, Cali will always be home to me, but there's so much more to be offered when it comes to my career, and I think I owe it to myself to explore that"

"And you don't think I want more for mine?"

"I didn't say that, I'm just saying, we can go anywhere we don't have to stay in one place. Long as were together, that's all that should matter right?"

He moved closer, taking her hand in his. She smacked her lips, grabbing both sides of the basket.

"Together huh? You know what, you right. Call your reps and tell them we accept"

Spencer laughed lightly arching his brow to her.

"Whoa, slow your roll babe, there hasn't been an official offer yet on the table-" Olivia cut him off.

"Good cuz I'm not going anywhere!"

She snags the basket off the table, marching past him, towards the closet, lining up the towels. He followed behind with his arms to his sides.

"Can you stop moving for one sec and actually tell me what you mean?"

She sighed, twisting her body back around.

"I'm not moving anywhere, ok? This is our home, my family is here, your family is here but above all that, so is my career too. I just got my footing in with the tribune. Football and journalism don't work the same ok, I can't just change my credentials like you change an jersey. And on top of that were in the middle of planning our wedding, did you factor any of that into your gateway plan?" She inquired.
