Bang Sena staring at Yiyeong's mother and Yiyeong's mother is staring at her daughter and Han Yiyeong staring back at my daughter, it is something that I never knew would happen and it happened in front of me. And I feel so small in front of them, I thought that I was confident enough to face everything in my life and I was even the CEO of my own company, everyone at work gives me respect for being their leader and I showed them that I can be leading them and now I am just being a spectator and waiting for one of them to start speaking.

They have been at it for almost 2 minutes now and none of them is willing to speak to each other, and I never knew that my daughter would be so brave to go against the other two women. I thought that Sena was just a brat that didn't know how to express her feelings and she would throw tantrums as a way of rebelling but she is showing her power as my first child and she is going to convince the mother of Han Yiyeong that I am the best candidate to marry Han Yiyeong.

"Why are you not speaking? I thought that you were supposed to be convincing me to consider your father as one of the candidates for my daughter's lifelong partner." Mrs Han was the first one to break the silence. "I gave you 10 reasons and I want to hear those 10 reasons why your father is the best and why should I choose your father to be my daughter's husband."

"Gosh..." Sena cringed at her words. "This is not a job interview for goodness sake, there is no reason why my father shouldn't marry your daughter, he is just the definition of what a well-accomplished man should be and he needs a wife to complete that."

"And my daughter is that woman that would complete his life? But he already has 3 children of his own, he is someone who already went through marriage once and I don't want my daughter to marry someone with a past." She fired back at her and she looked at me. "I don't want to say this but it is a fact that you are already married and you have 3 children, I don't want you as a son-in-law, Mr Bang."

"Omma! Do you have to be this unreasonable?" Han Yiyeong finally says something to her mother, I know that she has been keeping it in this time and not wanting to make her mother angry at her but she is just too mad to keep still.

"I don't know how much you exactly like him but he is never going to make you happy because he will never recover from his first marriage and I know how much he has been hurt from it, seeing it that he has 3 children in his custody, he is not the one who cheated in the relationship."

My eyes widened, how does she even know about that? "Mrs Han, how did you--"

"I am asking you to get out of my house before I start to get furious and kick you out of my house, Mr Bang Yongguk." She said to me. "And promise not to get involved with my daughter ever again, I will kill you if you let your children get close to her."

I looked at Sena and she is still hoping for me to fight back against Mrs Han but I just stood up, taking a huge apologetic bow towards her. "I am sorry to have taken up your time and I am truly sorry for everything that has happened, but I am still going to marry your daughter no matter what because I know that I can make her happy and I know that she is happy with me."

She looked at me and let out a huge sigh. "Can I have a talk with you in private?" She said to me.

Is she going to kill me? I looked around the house for any kind of weapons that she might use when she gets too angry at me and all I find is a bouquet at the dining table, maybe that is just a prop and it is a fatal weapon.

"Come with me, will you?" She grabs my blazer and I get pulled by her even though I am so much taller than her in comparison and once again I feel small again in front of a tiger mom.

We got to the patio of her house and it is a very lovely sight and she signals me to take a seat across the garden which had a table under the shelter of a big tree, I sat down with a lot of caution and she sits down, looking at the scenery. I looked back at the house and I was hoping for one of them to come to rescue me but there isn't anyone coming out of the house.

"Where did you meet your ex-wife?" She suddenly asks me and I was completely caught off guard, and she is speaking to me so softly as well and she suddenly slams her hand on the table. "Answer me, will you?"

"I was 18 and I met her in the darkest times of my youth," I told her. "She was there and I fell in love with her."

"I was 18 as well and I was working at the bakery when Yiyeong's father walked into that bakery and I fell in love with him at first sight, I knew that he was the one for me and no one can be better than him. He was 3 years older than me and he is a banker, I asked him out after one month and we got married right after that and we got Yiyeong a year later. We were so in love and I thought that he wouldn't cheat on me, there is no reason that he would cheat on me because he whispers that he loves me every night." She lets out another sigh. "Little did I know that he would cheat on me and when I found out about it, it is already too late, Yiyeong was already 10 years old and she was the one who even told me about it, that she saw the florist kissing her father and he went to her house all the time."

I handed her the tissue and she wiped her tears away. "So I lost all faith in love and I asked for a divorce as soon as he got home that day and I never regretted that decision, it was the best thing that I have ever done but I have also decided to never fall in love again so that I wouldn't get hurt again." She said to me. "How long did she even cheated for?"

"Almost 6 years and I wished that I knew about it sooner," I said to her. "I also asked for a divorce as soon as I caught her in action and I demanded that I would have the custody of my children because she doesn't deserve to take my children with her when she hurt me the most."

"It must have been so hard on you to pretend that it didn't affect you in front of your children and I understand it fully, that's why I am telling you this." She looked at me. "Go and have a closure with your ex-wife before you come back here to ask to marry my daughter, she has to know how bad of a bitch she is and how Yiyeong is going to be so much better than her."
