Yongguk
I waved a tiny goodbye to Yiyeong whom I unloaded her luggage at the front door of her room and I waited for her mother to open the door for her and Sena and then I slowly drove off, it is going to be a few days before we will get to see each other again.
6 months have passed by and it was time for the two of us to get married, Yiyeong is having her little party and Sena wanted to go along with her even though she technically doesn't need to be there but she is there, she wants to join in the fun and I am fine with it. As long as she doesn't cause any trouble anymore, I am fine leaving my daughter for a few days. She is turning 18 years old and she is going to be an adult in no time, she needs to learn how to be independent on her own and I can't be there for her all the time.
She needs to live and to do things in her room so that she could be a responsible adult and she knows what boundaries to avoid and to overcome them, and Yiyeong and her mother will be there to make sure that nothing else goes wrong. And I am sure that nothing much will happen on their side, it is my side that needs a lot of taking care of and I am talking about me and my sons.
Because the other side only consists of women, Sejeong and Sehyun have no choice but to stay with me for the next few days and both of them are known to be quite clingy towards Yiyeong more than me ever since we got engaged. They were already liking Yiyeong ever since she started to work as the babysitter, she is the one who understands them the best and they like her a lot, I feel that I am lacking in that aspect and I hope that I could fix that a little bit when we are having our time alone.
I looked towards my sons and they are not even sitting together, Sehyun is on the couch watching his cartoons and Sejeong is probably in his room, doing his schoolwork because he usually has the practice to go to and he only has the time to do his schoolwork at night.
Today is the night before my bachelor party and it is not even a party, because my sons are not past the legal age and I don't have any friends because I am so busy with work that I have never made the time to make any friends outside and I only see my colleagues as they are, they are also unwilling to be friends with me because I am the CEO and anyone who is friends with me will be seen as a bootlicker and they will be hated by everyone so no one would be that dumb to be on friendly terms with me.
I have also lost contact with a lot of people from my teenage years, maybe most of them have their own families or they might be dead because they are gangsters and most of them don't get their happy endings and I told myself to not get involved with them after getting married and it has been years ever since I saw anyone from that point of my life.
I let out a sigh and that caught the attention of my youngest son who just looked at me with his big enormous eyes. "Appa, are you not happy?"
"I am happy, Sehyun," I said to him.
"But you don't have any friends, Sena noona told me that they are having fun on their side and we are not having a party here." He pointed out the obvious. "Why are you not doing that?"
Because I don't have any friends? I was about to tell him the truth about my lonely bachelor party when the knock on the door interrupted our conversation and I went to get the door, the face of my younger sister greets me and I was confused on why she is even here. "You are supposed to be welcoming me inside your house and acknowledging my arrival with a simple hello, why the hell are you not doing that?"
"I thought that you are supposed to be with the ladies tonight, why are you here showing your face here?" I asked her and her boyfriend shows up beside me. "You are still not allowed to be here."
We glared at each other for a few seconds and I finally gave in, I would have fought her if I didn't have my kids are home and she didn't bring her boyfriend along with her. I let them inside and the boyfriend looks around awkwardly, giving me a slight nod on the head and he quickly looks around for Sehyun who is perfectly minding his own business and sitting beside him.
"I could have been with the ladies but I told them that I am going to spend the time with you at your bachelor party which looks more like a normal Saturday evening, you are my only brother and I am your best man for your wedding so I am part of this party." She looked around the house. "Are you sure that this is your bachelor party? Because it is so child friendly that it doesn't seem like a party to me."
"That is what I have been trying to tell my father but he just refuses to decorate the house for a party." I heard Sejeong coming out of his room. "Because he doesn't have any friends."
"Sejeong..." My sister said to him. "You are right about this, your father is so cute for having no friends."
"So what should we even do about it?" She asked Sejeong and then turned towards me. "Why should I even try to ask you? You seriously have no fun in your life."
I would punch her in the face if no one is around. "Can we get BTS here? As the main star of the party?" Sejeong asked Namjoon who is part of the world-famous group.
"Should we?" He replied and there was another knock on the door and the BTS members was entering my house and they do shine, the room became so bright and all of us stood together and it felt like they are going to perform in my house. "Hyung, this is my wedding gift. We are going to be the star of your party and it will be for free because it is your wedding and we would have you to enjoy to the fullest."
