I let out a sigh as I sat down at the table waiting for a certain someone, I might look like I have it together but I am so nervous about meeting her after such a long time. It is not the happy kind of nervous and you are excited to meet her but it is more like a scared kind of nervous and I don't know what to say to her after a year of not seeing her.

The past year has been tough on me because I have just filed a divorce from my wife which quicky become my ex-wife and I have not been used to doing everything on my own, I have been a workaholic and I usually don't have the time to take care of things at home and my wife was the one who made everything happen and the kids are so close to her.

During the last trial of our divorce, I was so close to losing custody of my 3 children because I am not used to taking care of them daily and having to do that is just going to do more harm than anything else but my ex-wife had decided to give up her responsibilities of taking care of them because she said that she didn't want 3 children to be holding her back from her new life without us. Hearing that from me just made me feel assured that getting custody of my 3 children is the best thing that I can do for them and I don't want them to grow up hating their mother just because their mother didn't want them anymore.

But taking care of 3 children is too much for me and I struggled to give them a livable environment until Han Yiyeong appeared in my life and assured me that she could give my children the love that they deserved and they love her a lot to the point that they don't even think of going back to their mother, they would rather want someone who would love them with all her heart even though she is not their biological mother and she will be their stepmother instead.

I have also been letting her into my heart and she has been the one who had made my heart fluttered after such a long time and made me believe in love again, it is not easy to love someone again after your love had been betrayed by someone whom you thought was the love of your life but instead, she is the one who made you lose faith in love and Han Yiyeong managed to do that and picked up the broken pieces of my heart and attempted to glue it back together with superglue and wrap it up with a ribbon and giving it back to me with a huge smile on her face.

So I have decided to marry her and to allow the children to have a loving mother figure in the family and she would do her best to make them feel loved, and before I can marry Yiyeong, I would have to meet my ex-wife to have a closure with her and also to inform her that I am doing fine with my love life and the children are going to be happy with Yiyeong in our family.

Sena had volunteered herself to be my protective shield if anything goes wrong today but I prevented her from coming here because I know that she is only going to make a mess and ruin everything, I had told her brother Sejeong to keep her from coming here and I hope that he is doing that because I don't want anything to go wrong today and having the children will be better because I am here to cut off ties to a relationship that doesn't have any hope at all.

I heard footsteps coming from behind and I smelt the familiar perfume smell that their mother would always wear, I turned around a little and she is there and she takes her seat in front of me. "I thought you told me to never appear in front of you and yet you are here calling me out here to have lunch with you. What do you want to see me today?"

"JunHee, what would you like to order?" I asked her as I passed her the menu. "It would only take a while and I thought that you would be parched travelling all the way here."

She looked at me and still ordered a glass of iced coffee for herself, but I don't see her smile at all as she hands the menu to the server. "How's life?" I asked her.

"So-so, I guess. I am happy with them and nothing matters than that, I don't think that you can ever relate to that." She said to me. "What about you? Are the children doing fine as well?"

"I am getting married next year," I told her.

"You are getting married? Don't joke around with me, who would even want to marry you when you don't even give them attention." She laughed and she saw my never-changing facial expressions. "You are serious?"

I nodded my head. "She is 10 years younger but she is good with the kids, all of them like her a lot."

"Even Sena?" She asked again.

"Even Sena, it took a while for her to warm up to her but she calls her Omma," I said to her. "You can't believe that as well right?"

"Sena is such a sassy teen, she wouldn't lower herself to anyone unless that person is that special to her and I know that she is going to be happy with my fiancee." She said and she smiled. "So where are the photos?"

"What photos?" I asked and she gasped loudly. "You don't have photos of your fiancee? But she is your fiancee, your lovely fiancee that you are going to marry next year."

"Appa doesn't have any photos but instead I will bring you to her personally." I heard Sena's voice and she is here with Yiyeong. "Omma,
meet Yiyeong Omma and she is the best stepmother that I will have!"
