The Arrangement

Yerrr!

I froze up.

After realisation set in I lightly pushed him away and turned, ran up the stairs without looking back. I ran straight to my room and shut the door. I slid down the door and let the tears fall. If anyone were to ask me why I'm crying, I wouldn't have an answer.

After crying for like 10 minutes I stood up with the last bit of energy I had and took my clothes off till I was left with my undies. I opened the blankets after throwing the continental pillows on the floor, took my doek and put it on.

I slid into the blankets, switched off the lights and said a shirt prayer and went off into Lala land.

....................Next Morning

I woke up to my alarm that was loud in the peaceful silence. I turned to the bed side and searched blindly for my phone then I remembered that it is in my pants pocket...my pants that are all the way by the door. I shut my eyes and hoped for my phone to not ring again. Just as I was falling asleep, it started again and sounded louder that before.

After fighting with myself I got out of bed and walked blindly to my pants, roughly took my phone out and turned off my alarm. But before turning it off I checked the time and it said 4:30 am but it felt like it was only 2 am. I blindly walked back to bed, put my phone on the bedside table and crawled into bed.

I woke up stared by the banging on my door. Angry at whoever decided to wake me like this. I marched to the door and pulled it open with force "INTONI (WHAT) ?" I asked Siyabonga who happened to be the one banging on the door "Sund'jamela njena phendula marn. Wandivusa njena uphambene rhaa (don't stare at me, answer me man. You waking me up like this, are you crazy?" I shout.

He stares at me, more like my chest area "intoni sbanxa ndini sujonga apho, ubuso bam bu pha (what fool don't look there, my face is here)" I say making hand motions to my face. I look down to see what he's staring at and realize that I don't have anything but my panties on.

Shutting the door on his face I run to bed and jump in, cover myself and scream. There's a knock on my door and I have a guess as to who it is. I stay quiet and hope he'll go away. After a while he knocks again. I decided fuck it, I Get out of bed and walk towards the door but chicken out and run to the bathroom.

I decided to bath and pretend like this incident didn't happen. After bathing and brushing my teeth I throw on some lace undies and I looked through my clothes. I don't know if I was extremely delusional but all I had was long ass skirts and dresses.

I refuse to deal with this.

After contemplating what to wear, I decided on a vest and a long skirt. I wore my takkies with and packed my clothes back in my closet.

I need to go home now. This is all fake and the sooner we all realize it, the better.

After gathering enough courage I open the door and head downstairs. Heading to the kitchen I walk to the fridge, open it, take an Apple, strawberry yogurt and a bottle of water out. I turn to the grey counter and place my foods there, take a teaspoon out to eat the yogurt with all the while ignoring Siyabonga and Sabelo.

I took my stuff and walked up the stairs heading back to my room when Siyabonga shouted "You can't ignore me forever you know"

I answered back "I can try" and closed the door after that. I placed the food on the bedside table and took my phone out

2 Missed calls from Ava

I took my laptop out, switched it on and opened Skype. I called Ava and after a few rings she answered looking as beautiful as she does after a 36 hour shift.

C : hey *teary*

A : I called twice (she said looking unbothered yet angry)

C : I know, I just checked my phone (I felt like hell)

A : so how's it going that side ?

C : I want to come back home that's how bad
it is

A : is it that bad. then Belle won't be able to come live with you mos and she misses you

_door opens_

B : Aunty Avy I lost my socks. Mommy ? Mommy I miss you *crying*

C : I miss you more baby I swear I'm coming back okay

B : Mommy don't love Belle no more

C : I love you so much my little Belle

B : no you don't mommy you don't love me

C : What. Belle I love you so so much

B : mmmm okay. Bye bye

C : Belle my love

B : yes mommy

C : call aunty avy please

B : okay
....
C : Avery has she been taking her medication ?

A : yes Cristaliah

C : eeeeewwwweeeee don't call me by that whores name

A : you know it's yours too right

C : nope, I'm Crystal dear not Cristaliah *makes vomit noises

A : when will you back ?

C : my plan is to fly back on thursday night or Friday morning

A : but that's s whole 3 or 4 days

C : I know I know but I have a few issues to sort out this side.

A : whatever. (I saw her roll her eyes jokingly) Ohhhh ok can't wait, we have so much to talk about

C : can't wait either. Now let me not hold you back, you look tired and I also need sleep.

A : yeah *yawn** I'm not even that tired ya know *yawn*

C : sure. Those bags under your eyes are to catch what, your tears ?

A : nxa wa borer (your boring [bora])

C : it's bora child

A : What ever. Bye

C : bye love.

Call ends

After the call with my two girls I felt lighter. I opened and ate the strawberry parmalat yoghurt. I finished at ate the Apple while drinking water. I opened Netflix on my laptop and watched a few moviesk

A knock sounded on the door and it was opened after the third knock. "Hey, what would you like for lunch?" Sabelo asked
"Uhm anything is fine" I answer back "okay" he says and closes the door. I continue watching blood and water but all the while I was tinking of how to address this 'business marriage' shit and when I'll get back to America.

Hopefully nothing
changes my plans

Hiiiii, I'm so sorry you guys. Please please pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssseeeeeeeeee don't hate me....as you know, exams are approaching and I need to focus because this year's marks are my ticket to a bursary and MEDUNSA so I gotta get it in the bank.

I wrote maths and accounting today and tomorrow it's afrikaans and so forth. I don't know when I'll post again. But I will do my best to update chapters so that when I come back, its with a blast...right?  right.

Uhm...yeah, thatsthats all.
