The Dream part 2

We finally got to school and coming out was fun because we had the grade11's acting like the paparazzi you know, asking for pictures and interviews. "Excuse me, Mr and Mrs Xhakaza over here please, over here" someone said, we both turned with a laugh and walked over, the 'camera man' was already filming us "How do you feel about tonight, sir and ma'am"

"We are excited" I said and Siya kissed my forehead making me blush and everyone coo "Well I must say, you two are dashing tonight, might snatch up the homecoming king and queen"
We laugh

"We are just here to have fun, celebrate our hard work throughout the last 5 years and make memories you know" Siya said

"I hear you, well that's it. Let me not keep you, enjoy your night."

"Thank you" we reply at the same time and laugh. We walk down the red carpet into the hall, all the while smiling and posing for the camaras. Getting our seats was easy since our table was placed in the center on the right side of the hall. There were two sides where we'd be seated and in the middle was the dance floor. The theme was ivory and gold so the tables had ivory table cloths and the cutlery was good, white and gold.

And on the stage was the DJ on the right side because the MC was on the left side by the podium.

On the dancefloor was a sticker written Class of 2018 in orange and black. The mood in the hall was feeding yet nostalgic. As much as we were happy to be done with high school, we were also sad to be leaving. Siza, Teboho and Raveshna wew already seated, chatting up a storm as always.

The night went by quickly, there was dancing, eating, speeches and more dancing. After about 5 !minutes of our arrival we were joined by the rest of our friends; Sizwe, Tebello, Nathi, Kat and them.

"I hope everyone is enjoying themselves" the MC Kat (different one) shouts and we all whooped and cheered. I felt someone tapping my shoulder, I turned to tell them to shush because I was trying to listen to Kat but it was Siya and he looked worried? "Baby shh, I wanna listen-"

"I'll be right back" that should've highlighted the red flags

"Oh okay" he kissed my cheek and left, I looked at all our friends content but nervous, it was my birthday and that is also what made that day special. I turned back to face the stage and the MC walked back on stage looking nervous and confused?

Seems like everyone was nervous...

"Well that's shocking. Erh ladies and gentlemen it seems like the soccer team has a surprise for us." And right at that moment I felt the bad feeling rising up from my stomach, getting clocked on my throat.

Ronald walked up to the stage along with Elias, Xolani, Sales, Siya and T- wait! Siya?? But he's not on the soccer team.

"Hello fellow sunwardians, how are y'all? Now we as the SST have a special surprise f-" Ronald starts

"Dawg let's not do thus anymore" Siya says holding Ronald's arm. Do what?? What does Siya want them not to do? Ronald shrugs his hand off.

"Nah man we've already come this far and besides, a deal's a deal" Ronald says looking directly at me. I will never forget that evil smirk he gave me. Everyone and i mean everyone, knew that Ronald hated me but nobody, not even I, knew why, well nobody but his friends. And since when had Siya and Ronald become friends?
