Giggles. I woke up to the sound of laughter and giggles. I made the bed and cleaned the room up. Making sure to open the curtains and doors that lead to the balcony. I got a pair of bubblegum cotton shorts and a long sleeve deep v-neck cotton tee shirt and my fluffly duck slippers. I took a quick shower, making sure to lather my body with soap. I finished and got dressed.

The laughter got louder the closer I got downstairs. "Good mo-oof" I caught my breath as I looked at the fluff of hair that collided with me. "Hi mama! Wait *giggles* I'm hiding from daddy..."

"Baby Belle. Where are you." She giggles, hiding behind me. "Sthandwa sami." Siya came into my line of vision, he had Kelvin hanging upsidedown on his back. "Have you seen Belle? She's such a good hider." She giggled behind me and I held my laugh in as I shook my head. "I think she went into the kitchen." She giggled again.

"Oh. Let me go search for her." Kelvin just giggled. "Daddy let me down!" Siya adjusted the boy on his shoulder and walked in the direction of the kitchen. "Ahhhhh!" I heard the shrill scream come from behind me. Siya had grabbed Belle and hoisted her over his shoulder. "Found you"

"No fair daddy!" She pouted. "Don't be mad because you lost princess. Failure is just a minor setback. It doesn't mean its the end of the world." They sat down on the couch. I just stood back and watched them bonding with one another.

"So its okay if I fail?"

"Yep." He nodded

"Then why does mama cry when she fails something?" They turned to me.  I felt like I'd been put in the spotlight. "As people my love, we deal with failure in different ways." I said, walking towards them. "And your dad is right. I cry to feel better. "

"That's silly." Kevin giggled. "You should never judge how someone copes with failure my love. They know what they are doing and it won't be what you do but if it helps them, we can't judge them."

"Okay."

"Yeah" I kissed their noses. "And what about me?" Siya asked when I turned to walk away. "You are not my baby."

"You wound me."

"Mommy you're a doctor! You can't hurt people."

"Kelvin your dad is joking." I could see the smirk on Siya's face.

"Are you daddy?" Siya quickly changed his facial expression to one that's sad and shook his head. "See mommy. He's not joking." Kelvin pouted at me. I mentally sighed and rolled my eyes. "Okay. fine." I dragged my feet, kissed Siya on his forehead. "Happy?" I asked the trio. They nodded their heads.

I turned and walked towards the kitchen. "Have you guys eaten?" I turned mid question. They avoided me. "Well? Will you answer my question?"

"Daddy, this one's for you." Zothile said.

"Siya?" I focused my attention to him. "I just gave them a little bit of..." He trailed off.

"A little bit of what?"

"Chocolate!" Kelvin screamed. "Oh thixo. I..." I just walked into the kitchen and switched the kettle on. I got a cup and made myself a cup of tea. I began getting ingredients for pancakes. "Hey.." I looked up from my task.

"Mmmmm." I focused on cracking these eggs. "I probably shouldn't have given them chocolate as a form of breakfast."

"No shit sherlock." He enveloped me in his warm arms. I could feel every muscle contract as he tightened his grip around my waist. "Hmmm mmm you're gonna distract me and I'm trying to feed our kids." I felt him get hard.

"Mmm mmm mmm." He groaned into my ear, his grip tightening. "Mommy why are you pink?" Zothile asked from the corner of the kitchen. She, luckily, couldn't see Siya or else that would have been something else.
