PBLSA-SINNOH LEAGUE-FINALS

~Lily of The Valley Island~

"Good evening to all of Sinnoh! It seems like we lost track of time, but we're back with the matchup we've all been waiting for! It's the final round, and without further ado, Brent vs Isaiah!" The hostess hyped the crowd one more time for the final round.

Both trainers held a pokéball in their hand, ready for their final battle. Their saga comes to an end today and both trainers were hoping to win the tournament.

"Let the battle begin!!"

"Ambipom, let's do this!"
"Honchkrow, you're up!"

There wasn't a type advantage for either side as they called out their leading Pokémon.

"Use Double Hit, Ambipom," Isaiah commanded.

"Strike back with Dark Pulse!"

The normal-type dashed forward and leaped into the air, slamming both of its tailed-fists into the avian. Honchkrow didn't take the body shots too well, but it managed to avoid spiraling uncontrollably and blast out a wide-range pulse of dark-type energy. Ambipom couldn't dodge in mid-air as it took the special attack with no way of escaping.

Aipom landed in a crouched position and Honchkrow's wings flapped at a slower pace. The two trainers glared at each other before calling out their next move.

"Heat Wave, do it now!"

"Not gonna happen, Ice Punch!"
'Pom!'

The pure normal-type showed off its threatening speed, charging forward and slamming an icy fist into Honchkrow. The big boss Pokémon crashed landed with half of its body frozen. Ambipom flipped back to its side of the battlefield with glee.

"Ah, I've had my suspicions of you training your pokémon in a way that could bring out their true potential," Brent said as he returned the fainted Honchkrow.

"Isaiah takes the early lead, but will he be able to hold it?" The hostess commented.

Isaiah scoffed, "you were suspicious of me?"

"The results of that training shows in your Ambipom and in that case, I can't take you lightly ." Brent sent out the gripper ghost-type Pokémon, Dusknoir. Isaiah read the matchup and the first thing he noticed were both Pokémon's immunity to each other's STAB moves.
