~Castellia City~
~Cruise Dock~Isaiah leaned against the railing while observing everyone and their families on the dock in Castelia City. Kids chasing each other playing tag, their parents chatting amongst themselves or the ticket master. The Royal Unova was the most luxurious ship in the region, and Isaiah had his dad pay for a ticket.
After getting jealous of looking at the happiness of families, he turned around to stare out at the water. Wingull and Pelipper calmly flew overhead. The sight was very relaxing to see as their wings would graze over the ocean water gracefully. He closed his eyes, taking in a whiff of salt water. Isaiah's mind wandered off a bit. The loud sounds of waves crashing against the pier, mixed with the roaring winds set his mind at ease. A cool breeze fluffed his silver hair repeatedly, resembling a flag dancing in the wind.
He had said his goodbyes to Alder and the few people he considered to be friends this morning. It wasn't too emotional, he didn't like getting mushy over things that wasn't a big deal. Isaiah was sure he would miss training at Alder's place, but the fact that he didn't want to journey in Unova held him back from growing as a trainer. Maybe that's the reason why he waited so long to become a trainer.
"Mind if I cut in?"
Isaiah looked over his shoulder to see his dad standing behind him. He didn't expect to see him here, considering his job is to remain at the Pokémon League.
"Sure," he replied, simply returning to the ocean view. Marshal positioned himself on Isaiah's left side and rested his arms on the rail as well.
"Ah, I don't get enough time to just relax like this anymore ya know" Marshal said trying to break the ice. Isaiah couldn't help, but remember the moments they had together. Where has the time gone?
Father and son moments on the ferris wheel in Nimbasa City, watching battles at the World Tournament in Driftveil City, visiting Nacrene City's museum. His favorite thing to do, was watch basketball and football games in the Big Stadium north of Nimbasa. That's the only time his father would get all fired up if he wasn't battling.
"You're not worried about being spotted here," Isaiah whispered as he glanced back. Two older females chatted amongst themselves, both taking turns in looking their way. Isaiah shook his head and looked at his father.
Marshal pressed his lips together "nah, I'm not worried." He spun around and leaned his back against the rail, he folded his arms and waved at the same girls that drooled over him just a few moments ago. They giggled like school girls and boarded the ship, still looking back every few seconds.
"I mean everyone's looking at you," Isaiah remained with his face looking towards the water. Partly, because he's genuinely enjoying the view and he doesn't want to be seen with his dad. He wanted to avoid attention, which is was part of the main reason for him leaving.
