• Him being a major simp
• He really tries his best to please you all the time, give the man some credit
• Especially with his mother being such a heavy influence
• You love him but still find him extremely boring at times
• Like who wouldn't
• Meeting the famous Bart Simpson
• Never having to worry about him cheating on you
• Partly because he's so dedicated to you, partly because he's too nervous to do a thing like that and mostly because no one else would really be interested in him

• Sometimes trying to help him get over his Vietnam flashbacks
• Him being willing to do anything you say
• Literally anything
• Just as long as it doesn't displease his mother
• Feeling strangely jealous of your one in-law
• But that's probably because it sometimes feels like he loves her more than you
• He tries to assure you that that's not true

• Finding out that he can be pretty badass when needed

• Even if he is pretty lame most of the time, it's pretty cool to say you're dating a 'nam veteran
• Him getting awkward about affection or anything physical
