You walk through the doorway, closing the heavy door behind you quietly. You don't want to cause alarm to anyone sleeping in the castle. Your heart is still heavy, beating with anxious uncertainty. You take a few steps forward before pausing. You do your best to collect yourself - Trying to convince your loud thoughts to quiet.
I am going to be okay.
"You stayed." A relieved hum came from in front of you.
Lady Dimitrescu is relaxing on the same chair she had placed you in when she treated your wounds, the roaring fire crackling beside her. She is dressed in a black silk robe. It drapes across her body perfectly, making every curve of her body visible. Her leg is crossed, resting on her opposite knee. Her bare leg peeks out from the fabric of her robe, glowing from the light of the fire. Her hair is undone from its normal flawless curls. She has a small book in one hand and a cigarette holder in the other. The smell of sweet tobacco fills the chamber. She slowly closes her book and tucks it between the arm of the chair and the cushion, storing it for later. Reaching over to the table, she puts out her cigarette.
You stay silent and keep your eyes on the floor. Your words fail to escape your mouth. There are so many questions you want to ask and things you feel the need to tell her. But, none of them feel like the right words in this moment.
"Come here, little one." She says quietly, patting her lap.
You slowly wake your way across the room, eyes focused on your steps. You stop in front of her. She wraps her hands around your waist, pulling you up to her lap to sit. Once you are resting on her lap, you relax a bit - Glad to be close to your mistress again. She moves her hand, lightly resting it on your thigh. Her other arm is around you, holding you upright at your waist. Her fingers tease your side with gentle movements.
I've missed her.
"I have missed you too, sweet girl." She hums. "Please, do look at me. I would like to see that darling face of yours."
You raise your head to meet the adoring face of your Mistress. You looks at you tenderly. Her eyes twinkle with admiration and relief. Her face is bare, lacking the makeup she normally wears. She's even more beautiful in her natural form. She smiles at you, noticing your admiring stare. Her clean lips fall onto your forehead, gracing your skin with a subtle kiss.
"I am glad you decided to stay. I feared I might have had to prepare to grieve the loss of my favorite maiden." Her words felt sincere.
"I couldn't leave, My Lady. As I said, you have done so much for me." Her hands are stroking your hair, easing any worry you have left. "I owe everything to you."
"Yes, my dear, you do owe me a fair amount. But, I would have understood if you chose to leave. I failed to control myself earlier. I do apologize. I just couldn't help myself. Your smell was sweet - and I do have to say, your taste was quite sweet as well." Her hungry smirk returned to her radiant face. "It took everything in my power to pull away from you."
"Honestly, My Lady... I was shocked by your actions. But... I wouldn't have minded if you continued." Butterflies swarmed in your stomach and your heart began to flutter.
Lady Dimitrescu chuckled softly at your words.
"I can tell you're being truthful. Your heart is nearly pounding out of your chest." Her eyes drifted across your face, examining your features. "I don't think you realize how fondly I have grown of you, my dear. It's hard to contain my desires when you are in my presence."
Your heart races faster. You can feel your pulse accelerate, causing the veins in your neck to twitch.
"Well... My Lady..." You begin quietly. Your attention is focused. "If I do recall correctly, as your personal maiden, it is my job to fulfill your wants and needs. A desire is a strong feeling of wanting to have something, or wishing for something to happen. It would be disobedient of me not to assist you with your desires." Your cheeks blush at what you just said.
