Alcina quickly made her way to the phone in her room. She could feel the intense worry growing inside her, telling her something was seriously wrong. Before the two of you left the castle, she warned her daughters not to call unless it was urgent. If Bela was trying to contact Alcina, it wasn't a matter to be ignored.

Alcina's footsteps fell heavily against the stone flooring and she paced for her room. She pushed the door open and quickly made her way to the vanity where the receiver lays, Bela waiting on the other end. Before she answers, she takes a deep breath. Alcina's heart races, unaware of the trouble that awaits her.

"Bela." Alcina huffs. "What is the meaning of this?"

"Mother!" Bela's voice is firm, trying to mask her worry. "We have a problem."

"Well, spit it out, child!" Alcina lacks patience for her daughters avoidance.

"It's Ethan Winters..." Bela mutters.

Alcina's fingers grip the phone tightly, jaw clenching as her anger rises.

"That damn man-thing better not be in my castle!" Alcina barks.

"Mother-" Bela tries to speak, but Alcina doesn't allow much space for words.

"I swear I will slaughter him like a pig if he's dared to step foot on my estate! His corpse will be divided by a wooden stake, leaving him to dangle like a scarecrow!"

"Mother!" Bela raises her voice. Alcina quiets. "Ethan Winters is not here."

"Then why in Mother's name are you calling!? I warned you!" Alcina's irritation is clear.

"Ethan Winters infiltrated Moreau's estate, stealing his fragment of the child. He made a move on Heisenberg as well, without success. Heisenberg has him locked up. But, we both know how successful Heisenberg has been at containing prisoners in the past."

Alcina sets herself in the chair beside her. Her body vibrates with rage.

"Yes. You are not wrong." Alcina sighs. "Perhaps if he escapes he'll do me a favor and put and end to that fool, Heisenberg."

"That's not my reason for calling, Mother. Heisenberg called in hopes to reach you, but I informed him of your current absence from the castle. He wanted me to pass on a warning..." Bela explains.

"Warning? About what?" Alcina asks.

"The child isn't the only thing he's in search of...." Bela begins. "He's looking for Y/N as well."

Alcina's body tenses. Her hear beat seems to slow as the room around her becomes hazy for a moment. Her eyes widen, realizing her fears are valid.

"Mother? Did you hear what I said?" Bela tries to pull Alcina's attention back to her. "Winters wants Y/N. Why? What could he possibly want with her? How does he even know who she is? Mother!"

"Thank you, Bela." Alcina mumbles. "We'll return to the castle in the morning."

"Mother, I don't think that's a goo-"

Alcina hangs up the phone.

"Your bath is ready, dear." Mary peeks her head into the room, gentle smile curling on her lips.

"Thank you." You mumble softly.

You can't help but let your mind wander to the extensive possibilities as to why Bela would be calling. Your anxiety hasn't subsided since Mary met you and Alcina by the vineyard. Alcina's worry seemed to be heightened as soon as she was told Bela was waiting for her on a call. She had tried to mask it, but you could see through her facade.
