"My sweet girl..."Alcina coos, gently rubbing your back. "It's time to wake up."

You slowly pull yourself from slumber. Half way through the ride, you felt yourself drift to sleep. You stretch your body, allowing your nerves to awaken from their calm and sleepy state. Alcina pushes strands of hair from your face as you look up at her. Resting your head on her lap, your eyes flutter open. Alcina smiles at the sweet sight of you.

"We're here." Alcina gleams as the driver pulls the door open.

You pull yourself up from Alcina's lap as she begins to rise from her seat. Her body blocks your view of outside as she steps out of the car. Once she exits, she leans back in and offers you her hand. You take it, allowing her to guide your tired body out of the vehicle. As you step out, the sun submerges your body in pleasant warmth; waking any remaining sleepiness you may feel. Your eyes widen as the view unfolds before you. A quaint Roman style villa stands in front of you. You can see rolling fields of orchards stretching into the distance, mountains faint in the horizon. A smile spreads across your awe struck face as you take in the view. The feeling of amazement washes over you. The dreary village you're use to doesn't compare to the spectacular landscape that lays beyond the peaks of the mountains. Although just on the other side, it feels as though you've traveled to a whole different country.

"I hope you find this adequate." Alcina begins to lead you forward. "It's not much, but I do hope you'll enjoy it here as much as I do."

"Adequate? This is remarkable!" You grin at her, eyes filled with excitement.

"Your excitement for simple things never fails to amuse me, draga mea." Alcina chuckles.

"Alcina, I grew up in a grungy run down village. This is far from simple." You exclaim, gesturing to the fancy building and endless rows of vining plants.

"I suppose that's true." Alcina chuckles again as she opens the villa door.

She allows you to enter first as she directs the driver as to where she can place your luggage. The inside of the villa is simple and homey. Although still elegantly decorated, it's far different from the lavish décor of Castle Dimitrescu. Alcina stands behind you, placing her hands on your shoulders.

"What do you think?" She asks.

"I think I could stay here for more than a few days." You giggle, glancing up at her.

Alcina leans down and kisses your forehead, pleased by your content.

"Don't worry, darling. We'll have plenty of time to visit as we wish." She stands again. "After all, besides being a vacation home, this is the core of my business." She gestures to the fields of growing grapes outside the window.

"I thought your wine was made from the blood of maidens?" You question. Alcina giggles at your accusation.

"My wine is infused with the blood of maidens." She exclaims. "The wine I produce is a basic blend of fermented fruit infused with spices, floral aromas, and sweet extracts of delectable garnishes."

"Good marketing choice. I don't think there's a very high demand for the wine of maidens." You joke.

"No, I don't believe there is, my dear." Alcina smiles. "That just means there's more for me." She winks.

Something small and furry brushes against your leg, startling you. You look down to see a sleek black cat rubbing against your leg. It looks up at you with its golden eyes and lets out a small mew. Alcina scoffs, pushing it away with her foot.

"Don't mind them. This place seems to be crawling with those mangy vermin."

The cat trots back to you, reaching up your leg with its front paws. You chuckle, picking it up into your arms. As you stroke it's fur, the cat begins to rumble with purrs.
