"Mother, have you ordered the flowers yet?" Bela asks, sifting through a long checklist.
"No dear, I haven't had the time to just yet." Alcina exclaims, scribbling something onto a sheet of paper. "Do you think I should do red or white roses? ...Or both? No, both would be too clique."
"What color is the dress?" Daniela asks.
"The dress Donna is making is white. Mine is black." Alcina responds.
"Really, Mother? Of all colors, you chose black?" Cassandra chimes, kicking her feet up onto the coffee table.
"Black is an elegant color!" Alcina exclaims, nudging Cassandra feet off the tabletop with her heel.
"Yeah, if your going to a funeral." Bela grumbles.
"Nevermind my dress for now." Alcina huffs. "The roses. What color?"
"Why don't you do black and white roses?" Daniela asks. "Y/N could wear black roses and you could wear white."
"I like the way you think, my dear." Alcina coos with a smile. "Black and white it is!"
"Now, what about the invitations?" Bela asks, checking off an item from her list.
"Invitations for what?" You ask, entering the parlor with a tray of tea in hand.
"Oh nothing!" Bela nervously chimes, stuffing her sheet of paper under her arm and giving you a twisted smile.
You eye her up as you stroll over to the sitting area.
"I find that hard to believe." You remark, setting the tray onto the coffee table. "You're not a very good liar, Bee."
You pick up one of the teaming cups, carefully handing it to Alcina. She wraps her finger around the handle, giving you a warm smile.
"Thank you, draga mea." She hums, giving you a kiss.
The clear display of PDA causes a groan to come from each of the girls. You smile into Alcina, giving her a soft peck before you pull away. Alcina doesn't let you get far. She gently grabs your chin, holding you in place as she gives you another deep kiss. She makes it a point to hum into you, striking the girls with more disgusted embarrassment. Bela fake gags, sticking her index finger in her mouth.
"Would you two quit it already!?" Cassandra desperately pleads. "For Mother's sake and mine, get a room!"
You break away from Alcina with a giggle. She bites her lip as you bend over in front of her to grab yourself a cup of tea. Her daughters choose to ignore this. You give Alcina a wink as you sit down beside her, leaning against her body. Her arm wraps around your waist, hand resting on the side of your thigh.
"So what are you four really up to?" You ask, blowing on the steaming liquid in your hands.
"The girls have been kind enough to assist me with planning a wine tasting." Alcina makes up a well thought out cover story. "I think it may be a good distraction for all of us."
The glances shared between the three sisters leaves you unconvinced, but you play along.
"So when will it be?" You ask, taking a sip of your tea.
"This weekend!" Daniela coos with a big grin spread across her face. "All the Lord's and Ladies will be there! And Mother's most trusted colleagues, of course."
"I see." You exclaim. "That's only two days away."
"And I hope you'll join me as my plus one, darling." Alcina coos, leaning down to your ear. "How I'd love to show off my alluring woman." She hums, kissing your neck.
