"My lady..." You begin, but Lady Dimitrescu quickly cuts you off.
"Mother Miranda was able to develop a cure. However, it is temporary. That being said, each dose only lasts a week or two. But, it will have to do until Mother Miranda can create something permanent. She wasn't going to give it to you until you helped her, but I managed to convince her that it might persuade your assistance." Lady Dimitrescu tells you.
"What will it do to me?" You ask, suddenly anxious that this too will have unpredicted side effects.
Lady Dimitrescu turns your body, allowing you to face her once again. She rests one hand on your waist, and the other combs through your hair. She gives you a little smile, attempting to ease your worry.
"Well..." She ponders her mind for the right words. "Although it is temporary, it should loosen the parasites grip on you. Allowing you to return to your normal self. However, there is one permanent thing."
You give her a questioning look. How can a temporary cure have a permanent affect? Lady Dimitrescu traces the scars on your back with her fingertip. If the healed skin had a few more nerves closer to the surface, her touch would tickle.
"Your scars. They'll fade. I asked Mother Miranda to add a healing component to your doses. With each passing day, your wounds will heal, scars will fade. You won't have to carry the reminders of painful memories with you wherever you go." Lady Dimitrescu's voice is soft, calming. "I know I should have asked you before I made the request, but I wanted it to be a surprise."
Your eyes gaze into hers, besides the lingering hunger, you also can see the true care this woman has for you. She looks at you like nobody else has. Not even your mother. This astounding woman, who's only known you for a few months, has been the safest home you've ever known. You lean into her, resting your head on her chest. Your arms wrap around her waist, pulling yourself closer to her warmth.
"Thank you, Alcina." You whisper. Alcina wraps her arms around you as well, welcoming your embrace.
"You are welcome, my little bird." She rests her head on yours, enjoying the tender moment. "Y/N, may I ask you something?"
You lift your head to look at her, giving her your full attention.
"When Heisenburg touched you... did you enjoy it?" The look in her eyes changed as she asked you this. Aside from the slight hunger and adoring care, you could see something else... jealousy.
"Alcina, are you jealous that Heisenburg touched me?" You ask, partially teasing.
"Answer the question, Maiden. Did you enjoy it?" Her voice was stern now, warning you that this was not a time for teasing or jokes.
"No, my lady. I did not." You shake your head quickly.
She looks at you, eyes narrowing. Her serious face tells you that she's not entirely pleased with your answer - even if it was truthful.
"My Lady-" She cuts you off before you can finish.
"Ah. I didn't ask for you to speak." She warns. You instantly shut your mouth. "Heisenburg seems to think I cant please you. I'd like to prove that I can." Her lips curl into a small, yet devious, smile.
You stare at her, eyes wide in shock at her sudden change of mood. She was go gentle, so tender, only moments ago. Before you can protest and tell her there is no need, she pulls the leather straps out that she tucked away in the dungeon. They dangle from her graceful slender hands.
"Not a word until I tell you that you can speak. Understood?" Her voice is firm, yet seductive.
You nod your head, unsure of what's about to happen. But, you know better than to disobey your Mistress.
