[Camille]

That Friday was a day I absolutely didn't look forward to: James and I had agreed that we'd meet each other immediately after school at my house to tutor for the first time, and I was nervous as hell. The day went by really slowly and I was still sitting next to him with a tensed body, his foot touching mine from time to time and sending warm shivers throug my whole body.

When it was finally time to go home, James and his friends biked with Jasmine, Grace and I. James was talking to Jasmine, Max to Grace, and Tyler, who was always really nice to me, was left to talk to me.

I had a really good time and had actually forgotten James was going to come to my place after school, until James and I seperated from the group and biked alone in that street.

He turned his head towards me and looked at me with those big brown eyes; I smiled at him, being perfectly fine with biking in silence, not really expecting him to start talking to me. We were going to have to spend the next few hours together anyway.

But when he opened his mouth, to my surprise, he asked something that was even more to my surprise.

"So, you and Tyler, huh?"

The cheeky smirk he gave me looked a little forced, his eyes not really holding the happy look his mouth did, and I chuckled awkwardly. "Oh, no..." I started quickly, but I didn't finish it as I didn't know what to say. I couldn't really tell him that I wasn't interested in Tyler that way because I was in love with him, the boy biking next to me.

"No, no" I just stated while shaking my head and a long silence fell over us, the both of us uncomfortable now.

I wondered why he was, or at least seemed, uncomfortable with my answer. Maybe he didn't like the idea of his friend in a relationship with the girl sitting next to him in class.

We didn't have anything else to talk about as he couldn't ask me how my day had been because he'd sat next to me the whole time but luckily for us, we quickly arrived at my home and we both parked our bikes in the garage. We entered the house and I was a bit nervous, kind of hoping that he liked my house, then reminding myself again that it absolutely didn't matter.

I opened the back door and we both took off our shoes and jackets, hanging them on the hanger behind the door, but first he took a quick look around the kitchen.

It wasn't that big, just a rectangular room with counters against the opposite walls from the one with the door, and a round table for 4 in the middle of it.

"I guess we'll just sit over there" I said, nodding with my head towards the round table. He nodded and walked over there with his backpack, putting it down next to his chair before sitting down with his back to the door.

I kept looking at him, I couldn't get myself to move away from the door. It was weird to see him in my house, it wasn't right in my mind. I knew it was going to be awkward and strange, but I didn't think I'd be this taken aback by seeing him where I lived every single day.

I suddenly noticed he was looking over his shoulder at me with a confused look in his eyes. "Millie? Are you coming?"

I got myself together, ignoring the fact how nice it was to hear his voice right here and nodded, quickly walking over to him and sitting down in front of him. I avoided his gaze when he looked at me while I was taking my books out of my brown backpack, putting them on the table in front of me.

"So, what exactly do you want me to explain to you?" he asked slowly, not making such a big deal of it like I was. I thought about it for a few seconds, and then decided to start with something I really didn't understand.
