[Camille]

I slowly opened my eyes and turned off my alarm clock, not in a very good mood because of the early hour of a Monday morning. I groaned, rolling around in my bed and then got out of it to get ready. I stumbled through my room to turn on the lights and then walked to my mirror, looking at my slightly squeezed eyes as they hadn't adapted to the lighting yet, and my very messy hair.

It honestly looked like a bomb had exploaded in it, and I already knew I was going to have to wear it in a ponytail today.

I quickly grabbed some clothes from a pile on a chair in my room and put them on, ending up in an ochre yellow hoodie and blue jeans that fitted loosely around my legs. I tied my hair up and went downstairs to have breakfast.

After quickly eating a sandwich with jam I went upstairs again to brush my teeth.

When I was completely ready, I put on my shoes and jacket, grabbed my brown backpack and exitted through the backdoor. As soon as I was outside the cold weather hit me in the face, and I went back inside to grab my beanie as my ears were too cold. I had a white one, matching the wool of my denim jacket.

I went outside again after quickly shouting a goodbye to my Mum and Chloe, opening the garage on my way to it and I grabbed my bike, leaving for school.

I kind of hoped I was going to bump into James again, but I didn't see him and Jasmine, Grace and I didn't wait for him and his friends. I didn't think they remembered we had the same meeting spot, but I also didn't dare to say something about it in fear of making my crush on James too obvious.

We biked to school, I spent most of the time in silence, pretending to be listening to Grace and Jasmine's conversation while looking around, lost in thoughts.

We quickly arrived at our destination and locked our bikes, walking to the playground to go and stand with our friends in a cirkle like we always did; we didn't stand there for a long time though, as the bell rang just a few minutes later.

Everyone walked into the building, and my heart started to pound faster at the thought of sitting next to him in class.

I thought I was past the freaking out about being close to him as I'd grown more and more relaxed next to him, but maybe the fact that I'd kissed his cheek, he had admitted I was the prettiest girl in the room, he'd tried to tell me I had soft lips and I'd ended his call before it was finished had something to do with the increased heartbeat.

I took off my jacket and beanie in the hallway, deciding to put the last in my backpack and I walked into the room, noticing he was already sitting there, on his seat in the back in the classroom.

I inhaled deeply and walked over to him in a straight line, looking down at my feet and fiddling with my beanie in my hands the whole time.

When I reached him I mumbled a shy 'Goodmorning' and I put my backpack down against the wall before sitting down, feeling multiple shivers run down my spine when the side of his foot touched mine, and he kept it there.

"Goodmorning" his raspy voice, probably due to the early hour, filled my ears and made my stomach twist in a good way.

He gave me a smirk and I felt the corners of my lips turn up in a smile, feeling my cheeks turn a bit red. I suddenly frowned, questioning why I was reacting like this again; I thought I was over it.

The teacher walked in and started his lesson, my mind constantly being distracted by the touch of his foot. I bit my lip trying to keep my gaze form drifting to him, but it was hard. I wanted to know what he was thinking right now.

I wondered if he was upset that I'd just hung up on him. He probably was, as no one liked to be cut off. But on the other hand he hadn't called me again, nor sent me any text messages so I didn't know what to think.
