[Camille]

I woke up and turned off my alarm clock quickly, not liking the loud sounds it made and getting out of bed slowly, broken sounds leaving my lips in the process.

I sighed and got dressed, I was still very tired as I hadn't slept well and had woken up several times in the middle of the night, but I hadn't had any nightmares, so I figured that was something.

I quickly went downstairs to have breakfast with my sister and then going upstairs again to brush my teeth and get myself ready. Soon, I was biking in the cold air, the cool wind blowing the babyhairs that weren't in my braid out of my face, freezing my ears. I cursed the fact that I didn't wear a beanie under my breath, creating little visible clouds in the air.

I suddenly heard the sound of another bike behind me and looked over my shoulder, finding James with a happy smile on his face as he tried to catch up with me.

I smiled and let him come to bike next to me, enjoying that I didn't have to bike a whole street alone, the only light coming from the street lanterns. "Goodmorning" he greeted me and I smiled at him, greeting him back with a slightly raspy voice; I was still tired.

"Hey, so you know, I've been thinking" he suddenly stated, seeming to struggle to get the words right and I turned my head towards him, raising my eyebrows. "Yeah?"

He sent me a side-glance and nodded before swallowing, looking back in front of him.

"Yeah, and I wondered why we just didn't bike together as a group. You know, my friends and your friends" he explained and I realised he was right; we took the same route at the same time, there was no reason for us not to bike together.

"Yeah, I'll ask Jasmine and Grace" I answered, feeling my hands starting to feel the cold through my gloves.

"And I'll ask Max and Tyler" he added, his pleasant, low voice filling my ears and made my insides warm.

We spent the rest of the ride talking about Noah, Sienna and Larissa and that they were in a different school than ours, but still lived so close to us; we only had to bike about 15 minutes to get to them.

We arrived at the end of the street, where Jasmine and Grace were waiting. Max was there too, and he was having a seemingly nice conversation with Jasmine while Grace was just standing there, staring at James and I who came to a stop in front of them.

"Goodmorning everyone" James said while putting his foot on the ground for support.

"James and I were thinking about biking together as one group" I immediately suggested, and everyone seemed to agree with that happily. "Yeah, that's a great idea" Max shared, and Jasmine chuckled.

I smiled and almost jumped up when I suddenly heard Tyler's voice. "Goodmorning ladies" he said with a friendly smirk, and I nodded with a smile.

We started biking all together, Max and Jasmine up front, James between me and Tyler, and Grace behind us. I looked over my shoulder at her and decided to slow down so we could bike together.

She smiled at me, a bit absent, but she was just like that sometimes. "Goodmorning" she greeted softly, and I said it back, my gaze drifting off to James's profile whenever he looked to the side to talk to his friend: he had beautiful, slightly parted lips and a nose bone that went up in a nice and smooth arc.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by Grace talking to me, surprising me with her soft and gentle voice.

"You have feelings for him, don't you?" she asked quietly and I turned my head to the side to see she'd raised her eyebrows. I just stared at her with parted lips, not knowing what to answer.
