[Camille]

With my heart pounding against my chest I got out of the car and walked behind Jasmine and Grace towards the entrance, looking at my feet with my hands in my pockets as it was already pretty cold outside.

I entered the building and looked up to notice that James, Max and Tyler were waiting for us in the little entrance hall; I couldn't hold back a smile when I saw James in simple clothes, but still looking so good. His hair was tousled as always, but at the same time, it looked like every lock had been carefully placed where it should be. His eyes were sparkling while they looked at Jasmine and Grace, taking in how they looked before moving to me.

I quickly looked away as soon as I saw his eyes turn to me, not wanting to get caught staring by him. It felt weird hanging out with him apart from school or the tutor lessons every Friday, I didn't feel like I belonged there with him and his friends.

But I was kind of looking forward to it, I'd always liked bowling and I wasn't bad at it; I used to bowl a lot, so I was experienced.

We entered the bowling hall after greeting each other and put on the special bowling shoes, then following a man who led us to our bowling alley. I looked at it: there was a big, red couch shaped in half a cirkle with a little table in the middle to put the drinks on, and a little keyboard to type in the names which would then appear on the screen above us with all the points you'd scored. There was loud music being played and a lot of neon lights were shining, adding a nice vibe to the large room.

Everybody made themselves comfortable on the big couch, James sat himself in front of the keyboard and started typing the names and when he was done, I looked at the screen, a smile appearing on my face. He'd put Millie for me, and I was the first one, followed by Jasmine, Grace, Tyler, Max and he'd put himself last.

I stood up to take one of the bowling balls and start the game, but James came to stand in front of me, making my body freeze. His eyes scanned my face for a few seconds before he took a step to his right and pointed at the bowling alley with his arm.

"After you, Millie" he mumbled playfully, and I chuckled, taking a bowling ball and starting the night.

[James]

My eyes focused on the 12 bowling pins in front of me, narrowing them a bit in concentration, even though they were already used to the dim lighting in the hall.

My arm flew forward and released the ball in a slightly smooth motion, and I watched the ball until it hit the pins, knocking over 5 of them. I grabbed another ball and threw that one after waiting for a while, then throwing in the gutter and hitting nothing.

I widened my eyes in shame and turned around to see Tyler look at me while laughing at my bad throw, and I smiled when I walked past him to sit down, gaining a sarcastic high five from him.

Camille was next and she got up from the couch, walking to the bowling balls to throw one.

I watched her take one of the balls and she waited a few seconds before throwing, knocking over 9 pins. With her second throw, she knocked over the remaining pins, the ball rolling towards them in a straight line.

She walked back to her seat and sat down on the couch, in front of me.

I looked at her while she was absently staring at something else. She was wearing a rust coloured skirt that reached a bit above her knees, showing her slim legs; I'd already noticed she had a toned body when she was wearing black leggings for PE at school, but the skirt looked good on her. She was also wearing a black T-shirt that looked a little too big since the sleeves covered her whole upper arms and the hole for her neck showed a part of her collarbones, wich didn't stand out too much, just enough so it was pretty. Her neck and arms were covered in randomly placed fine birthmarks of a nice shade of brown.
