I looked in the mirror with an approving smile on my face, scanning my outfit: I was wearing the beige pants and the striped longsleeve with shades of brown and beige that matched the pants again. I'd never combined them before Chloe had helped me with getting ready for hanging out with James and his friends.
Chloe appeared in my doorway and scanned my appearance, frowning a little.
"Are you going to wear that?" she asked confused, which confused me as well; she'd made the outfit herself so I thought she would like it.
"Yeah..." I mumbled hesitantly, immediately gaining a sister who shook her head dissapointed. "No, you're not. You already wore that once, you can't wear it twice" she explained and I frowned, looking down at my outfit.
"But I like this one" I whined, and she stepped closer to me. "Yeah, I'm sure you have other nice things" she stated while grabbing my arm and turning me to the mirror again.
She opened my closet and searched through the longsleeves. After a while, she showed a navy blue one that had a large V opening on the backside. "You're going to wear this" she announced proudly, and I nodded as I didn't really feel like I had the option to say no.
She gave it to me and I started changing while she searched for blue jeans. After she'd thrown a pair to me, I heard the doorbell ring.
I widened my eyes and struggled to put the pants on, almost falling in the process. I quickly checked my hair in the mirror, which was in a ponytail, like always. I ran to the hallway and wanted to go down the stairs, but froze in my tracks when I heard voices coming from there.
"I'm James, nice to meet you, Miss" his voice sounded and I widened my eyes.
Chloe almost bumped into me and looked at me frowning hard, not understanding what I was doing. "What's wrong?" she whispered confused. "He's talking to Mum" I hissed as quiet as possible.
"Yeah, so what?" she answered in a whisper, gently pushing me towards the stairs. I realised I didn't have a choice and descended it, feeling a weird feeling rush through me when I saw him and my Mum having a nice conversation; it was kind of nice to see that she liked him. They both looked at me when they noticed I was coming downstairs, and I gave them a little smile.
"Okay, I'll leave you to it, then. Camille, be home at 11" my mother stated, and I hummed, showing her that I got it. She gave James one last friendly nod before walking out of the hallway and leaving us alone.
He scanned my appearance and smiled, making me blush slightly. "Ready to go?" he asked, and I nodded before walking out of my house, locking the front door behind me.

We biked to Larissa's house in the cold evening, the cool wind gently blowing my long hair out of my face. I was looking forward to it, I liked horror movies, I liked my friends and I definitely liked Camille, so this simply couldn't become a bad night.
I turned my head towards her while biking and realised that she only seemed to get prettier by the day.
I didn't care how messy her hair looked, I liked her curls and I'd never seen curly bangs before, but I thought it was beautiful with her.
She was shy but was slowly opening up for me, she was already pretty comfortable when she was with me; maybe because most of the time, we were kissing.
We arrived at Larissa's house and parked our bikes in the front yard, ringing the bell a bit later. Me and Camille were waiting together, and it made me realise that I liked to have her stand by my side and that I only had to turn my head to see her. In that moment, I decided that I was going to try to spend some more time with her.
