[Camille]
That morning, I was the first to arrive at te end of the street and my head was killing me. I had a headache and stuffy nose, I'd caught a cold yesterday, by biking in the rain.
I was wearing everything I could to protect me from getting sicker: a scarf to keep my sore throat warm, gloves and a beanie for my ears, as they froze without it.
I smiled when I saw James coming up from behind me, and he smiled back at me, stopping with squaky brakes and immediately getting off his bike, stepping towards me with a cheeky smirk. I knew what he was going to do, I saw it in his eyes and took a step back, almost falling over my bike.
"I'm a bit sick" I explained quickly, but it didn't stop him. "I don't care" he murmured, looking down at my lips before leaning in, giving me a sweet and gentle kiss.
He slowly opened his eyes again, letting the feelings that were released when he kissed me rush through him and he enjoyed every minute of it. He smiled at me, letting his brown eyes wander over my face while I sniffed quickly.
He walked back to his bike and stared at me with a happy look on his face. "I haven't done that in a long time, you know" he mumbled, raising his eyebrows to confirm his words even more.
I chuckled, rolling my eyes playfully. I didn't think it was longer than a week ago, but I couldn't blame him as I found myself thinking about kissing him a lot as well.
The others arrived and we left for school, biking through some muddy roads as they weren't paved and the rain from yesterday had made the earth soft and it'd eventually turned into mud. We biked through it with difficulties and Jasmine cried out a few times as she thought she was going to fall, but we all got through it succesfully.
We arrived at school about 10 minutes later and when we just entered the playground, the bell rang.
Everyone walked inside the buildings, me and James walking together as Jasmine and Max were nowhere to be found, probably talking together. I suddenly realised that they were talking a lot, and they seemed to get along.
Maybe Jasmine had lost interest in James and was now focused on Max. That would be good for me though, as I didn't dare to tell Jasmine about everything that had been going on between me and James because I thought she'd be mad.
James and I took off our jackets in the hallway and entered the room together, sitting down at our desk in the back of the class.
After a while, Jasmine and Max walked in the room, happily talking to each other and then their ways seperated as they both walked to their own seats. Jasmine sensed I was looking at her and smiled brightly at me; I returned it.
The teacher walked into the room and waited a bit until every student had entered the room and taken their places, then starting her lesson excitedly.
I heard James sniff; I'd probably made him a little sick too this morning, but it was kind of his own fault as he was the one who wanted to kiss me so badly. I sniffed as well, sneezing into a paper tissue, gaining a look over his shoulder from the boy in front of us.
"Do you have one for me too?" James mumbled, and I nodded, handing him one while the boy still looked at us.
He chuckled, nudging the arm of the boy next to him. "What a coincidence that she made him sick" he joked, making the other laugh. "Yeah, I wonder what they've been doing" he added and James rolled his eyes while I stared down at the desk with red cheeks, as the boys were completely right, even though they didn't even know it themselves.
To my surprise, the day flew by really quickly and we were eating lunch in the cafetaria. James and his friends had sat themselves down with me and my friends, and I liked the fact that everyone was having nice conversations.
