[Camille]
I woke up because of my alarm clock, quickly got out of my bed and got ready, not wasting any time in unnecessary things.
I biked to the end of the street, not finding James or any of his friends there as well and after Grace and Jasmine had arrived, we left for school. We were there before I knew it, and we locked our bikes before walking the short way to the playground.
We were standing with our friends in a cirkle when the bell rang, and me and Jasmine walked to the classroom together.
I constantly looked around in order to find James, but didn't see him nowhere, to my surprise, but I told myself it was nothing as he was probably just late.
I entered the classroom and sat down alone at my desk, already gathering my stuff and putting them on the table to be ready when the teacher would start the lesson.
I heard someone walk in the room and looked up, expecting to see the teacher, but instead, I looked right into James's brown eyes and almost fell from my chair.
He sent me a quick smile and sat down next to me in quite a rush, grabbing his stuff as fast as possible as he was, like I'd thought, late.
"Goodmorning" I mumbled, not being able to keep a little smile from appearing on my face. "Goodmorning Millie" he answered softly, only making the smile bigger.
The butterflies in my stomach constantly went wild just by James's presence next to me, but I decided to act as normal as possible, like nothing changed between us.
And actually, that was true; he still gave me goosebumps and made me freeze when he got too close to me, and every touch gave me shivers.
I sighed, realising that I'd completely fallen for this boy and that I did it a very long time ago.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when James's hand touched my side, sending shivers all the way down my spine. I turned my head towards him, biting my lip softly as I waited for him to explain himself.
"Hey" he whispered, tilting his head closer to mine, goosebumps forming on my skin because I could hear his voice so close to my ear. "I have to babysit my niece and nephew tonight and you can come along. If you want to, of course" he quickly added, seeming a bit nervous to ask me.
I nodded, a smile appearing on my face while my eyes scanned his face. "I'd love to" I answered, not saying no to spending time with him.
He chuckled breathily, relieved that I'd said yes and he smiled, nodding as well. "Okay."
Our faces were close to each other and my heart started pounding faster when his eyes started to scan my face, my lips longing for the feeling of his against mine.
The bell rang, ending the day, making both me and James jump up and break our eye contact. Everyone got up from their seats and walked out of the classroom, I followed and put on my jacket in the hallway. Me and James exited the building together, as Jasmine was too busy talking to Max, walking to our bikes together as well.
In the end, me, Jasmine and Grace ended up biking home with James and his friends.
We were all having a conversation together and we laughed a lot, talking about the party and how much fun we had. James told everyone excited that I was really good at Beer Pong, and I chuckled awkwardly, looking at my steering wheel with red cheeks.
Jasmine looked at me surprised, and all the boys cheered for me.
When the turn that me and James had to take came we all shouted our goodbyes happily. Me and James were alone now, and it'd turned silent.
