The following day, the Duke of York sat in his study, working through a stack of documents. His father ordered him to get through all the files by the end of the week. David flipped through the remaining papers on his desk to see how much work he had left to do and groaned when he realized that he would have to work for a very long time. He had more documents to go through than he had already read. David poured himself a drink to help ease the pain from all the documents he had to go through.

Someone knocked at the door, causing His Highness to let out an aggravated sigh, "Go away; I do not wish to be disturbed."

David expected whoever it was to go away, but there was yet another knock at the door.

"Did you not hear what I said?" David called. "I do not wish to be disturbed. Go away, or I will sack you."

There was a third knock, causing David to get up and march over to the door, "If this is not an emergency, I will find a way to have you convicted for treason."

David threw the door open, and Sebastian tumbled to the floor. He had been pressing himself against the door and did not act quick enough when David finally came to the door.

"Can this not wait?" David demanded as he looked down at Sebastian.

"I am sorry to disturb you, Your Highness," Sebastian replied, getting to his feet. "However, I needed advice and do not know who else to talk to."

"Well, judging by your formalities, this is serious. Sit down, but make it brief."

David shut the door as Sebastian headed towards the desk.

Once David poured Sebastian a drink, he leant back into his seat. While he was happy to have a break from all the documents, he had a feeling he would appreciate this conversation much better.

"Why are you coming to me for advice?" David inquired. "Why didn't you go speak to Elizabeth?"

"I need your advice concerning Darrel," Sebastian explained.

"Oh dear..."

"My trip back to Spain went surprisingly well. My mother did not want anything to do with me, but my father forgave me. He wished that he did not have to ban me from Spain, but he had no choice. And then he gave our relationship his blessing."

"Seriously? That is very impressive and surprising. Congratulations."

"Thank you..."

"So what is the problem?"

"While I was in Spain, I realized how much I miss it. I knew I missed my home, but while I was in Spain: it hit me. I still consider Spain my home. Even though I've lived in England for three years, I feel like a stranger here."
