(Y/n) makes it back to the Port Mafia base and immediately the men point their guns at her.
"Who are you?" One man yells.
"I-I'm just here to talk to Mori again. We spoke a couple days ago. Please don't shoot me."
"Why should we believe you?" Another man asks.
"Just take me to him and he'll tell you." The girl responds.
All the men look at each other.
"Pat her down." The first man orders another.
(Y/n) raises her hands in surrender and blushes when they pat her down.
"Clear. Now shut up and follow."
He ties a blindfold around her eyes and leads her around.
She stumbles due to the lack of vision but she manages.

A knock at his office door confuses Mori but he allows entry.
"I'm sorry to disturb you sir. This girl claims she knows you."
The ravenette looks up from his papers and his eyes sparkle. He manages to keep a straight face though.
"What should we do with her sir?"
"Leave her here and go back to the front. I'll deal with her."
The two men bow and leave, closing the door.

"I'm sorry for the blindfold darling. I'm glad to see you again. You look just as precious as when I left you."
"I found him. But he turned me away." (Y/n) informs quietly, unable to make eye contact.
Mori sighs as he takes off her blindfold, taking notice of her tears.
"My only family. He's nothing like I hoped he'd be but he's exactly what you said he'd be."
"I'm sorry he didn't take you in. I'm sure in his own way he was protecting you. But if you wish I would gladly take you in."
(Y/n) looks up at him quickly. "You would?"
"You'd make a cute errand girl. Nothing too dangerous, maybe a coffee run here, dry cleaning pick up there." Mori offers. "That way you're off the streets and I can keep you safe. A cute girl like you needs extra protection."

(Y/n) blushes and looks down. "What was Osamu to you?"
"He was basically my right hand man. A son I never had. I cared about him a lot, and still do, even after he left us."
"If I stay here can I make one request? It's kinda weird but bare with me."
Mori leans back against his desk. "Ask away."
"I wasn't loved by my parents or brother. But maybe you could love me. Maybe not right away, but in time. If I die I wanna know someone cared about me."
Mori's heart clenches at her sad request. He reaches out and cups her cheek gently.
(Y/n) looks up into his eyes.
"I accept. You're cute and kind. You remind me of a man I used to know. You could say he was Dazai's best friend."
"How did he die?"
"Shot." He responds shortly.

"So will I live here or somewhere else?"
"You will live here. I can arrange you a tutor as well. I'm sure you want to finish your schooling."
"Books can make you smart but experience will make you wise." She responds and smiles softly.
"And you sound wise beyond your years." Mori inquires sadly.
"I consider myself the best of both worlds. A tutor won't be necessary."
"Then let me show you to your room and introduce you to the people you'll need to know."
"And who will need to know me so they don't kill me. Right?"
"Of course. They will have special orders not to hurt you. And to relay the message to everyone else in the Mafia."

"Oh I totally forgot to ask. What is your ability? I'm sure being related to Dazai you have a wonderful ability. His No Longer Human allows him to nullify an ability by touching them."
"My ability..."
Mori looks back at her as they walk down the corridor.
"When I sing, I can enchant people. But it only works when I sing. Lame right?" She mumbles and looks away.
Mori laughs softly and nods, looking back ahead. "Even so, I would enjoy an angelic voice such as yours."
(Y/n) blushes softly.

It didn't take long for the mafia boss to introduce (Y/n) to the main cast.
Emo coat boy, gun lady, umbrella lady, mask girl, cigarette man, bandage nose guy, lemon bomb and the short redhead with a hat.
Especially since they were all in the same room discussing a new plan.
Aktagawa was surprised to hear his mentor had a little sister. He took a secret liking to her.
The women fawned over how cute (Y/n) is.
(Y/n) was embarrassed by the sudden attention.
Bandage boy wanted to kill her and be done with it.
The old man reasoned with him. "She's just a child. Errands should be fine. She shouldn't be too much of a pain."
"But remember, I want her guarded when she goes out. She's young and cute, an easy target. I don't care if one of you or a lower member escorts her. Someone needs to show her where everything is anyways."
"The right coffee shops and the dry cleaners." Higuchi adds and ruffles the young girl's hair. "I'll take the first errand run."
Mori smiles and nods. "Perfect. Welcome to the family (Y/n)."

"Don't you think Elise will get jealous if you dote on my sister too much?" Dazai questions from the doorway.
Everyone turns, ready for a fight, weapons drawn.
"Ah Dazai. Welcome back. I don't think Elise will mind too much. I'm sure she'd like a break from me anyways. And if I recall correctly you rejected (Y/n)." Mori greets.
"Her safety is #1. And she is furthest from it here with you. I'm surprised your goons didn't shoot her on sight." The brunette uncrosses his arms and walks into the room.
"Don't take another step." The orange haired boy growls.
"Dazai," Aktagawa and Chuuya mumble.
"Good to see you all again. I miss you all so much."
"Shut up!" (Y/n) yells, surprising everyone.
Dazai's smile turns straight. "Why are you here?"
"Mori and I made a deal. I can stay and be loved if I run errands. He offered me what you refused to give me. You don't care about me, and how could you? I'm sure you still think I'm lying about being your sister."
"I never said that. I believe you. But you'd be best off if you went to an orphanage or foster home. The mafia is no place for a child." Dazai glares at Mori.

They both knew what he was alluding to.
Dazai was 15 when he joined the mafia.
"Why are you here? Why did you follow me?" (Y/n) asks, stepping closer to Mori.
"I told you darling. He secretly cares about your safety. That's what being in the ADA has done to him."
"What happened to the boy who shot a dead man 13 times?" Chuuya asks, crossing his arms.
Dazai looks at his old partner. "He grew up and made a promise. Something a shorty like you wouldn't understand."
Chuuya growls and clenches his fists. "Can I kill him now Mori?"
Tears water (Y/n) eyes.
"What he's offering you isn't love, and never will be. It's manipulation. Love is not a negotiation."
"I don't care," she cries. "I just don't wanna die alone."

Dazai growls and clenches his fists.
The mafia looks at their former colleague, confused but waiting for his response.
"Then come back with me. I'll take care of you. Love isn't my strong suit but affection is a close second. Unlike Mori I can give you that. It might not be right away but I will try."
(Y/n) looks at her brother confused. "Go back with you?"
"Don't listen to him. Stay here." The woman with the umbrella orders. She takes a step forward.
"Just die." The bandage boy grumbles.
(Y/n) looks at Mori for guidance.
The said man keeps eye contact with his former underling.
The girl looks at everyone. She didn't know what to do anymore.
Dazai holds his hand out.
Mori puts his hand on her back. He traces something on her back. (GO)
Tears stream down her cheeks quickly as she runs into her brother's arms.
Dazai holds her close and picks her up.
"Come visit once in a while won't you darling." Mori offers and walks away, back toward his office.
The brunette growls quietly. He looks at the group then at his old boss. "You won't ever harm her?" He calls out to Mori.
"My orders remain the same mafia members." Mori calls back.
Everyone in the group sighs but nods. "Yes sir."
Dazai leaves and takes (Y/n) back to the ADA headquarters.
