Avoid Dangerous Territory

(Y/n) coughs up blood onto the alley pavement.
The men hovering over her leave, throwing their weapons into the nearby trash can.
She wanted to leave or at least sit up but she's in bad shape.
Her phone starts ringing but she ignores it. It goes off again but this time she manages to accept the call.
"Little mystery where are you? You were supposed to be home hours ago."
Hearing her brother's voice makes tears water her eyes.
A weak cry is her response.
"Mystery what's wrong? Did something happen?"
His voice is panicked now.
"Help... Osa..." She rasps out.

Dazai grabs his jacket and runs out of their apartment. "(Y/n) where are you? I know it's hard to speak but I need to know."
Her eyes move around, her vision still blurry and a bit red from blood.
She manages to say something to help him indicate where she might be.
"Ok I'm on my way mystery. I'll stay on the line. Listen to my voice and don't fall asleep. I know it's hard but I need you to stay awake."
Once again she whimpers and cries.
Her breathing is getting shaky and slow.

A few minutes later Dazai runs into the alley and his eyes widen in horror upon seeing the state of his sister.
(Y/n) looks up at her brother and her fingers twitch. "Osa," she whispers.
He wanted to take her to Yosano but his alternative is closer. Dazai picks up his sister, holding her close.
She cries out in pain but goes limp in his arms.
"Stay awake a little longer little mystery. I'm gonna get you help."
Dazai rushes to the Port Mafia base.
The guards recognize him and immediately open fire, although their bullets don't make contact.
Dazai looks down and sees his mortal enemy/ex partner.
"What the hell are you doing here Dazai?"
"I need Mori's help."
Chuuya looks up at (Y/n) and his eyes widen. "What happened to her?"
"I don't know. I need Mori to fix her first."

The two quickly head up to Mori's office and find the man still working.
Elise is asleep on the desk, drooling over her new drawing.
The Mafia boss looks up confused. "Who is- Dazai? What are you-(Y/n)?!"
Dazai walks over slowly but Mori runs over.
"What happened to her?"
"I don't know the details. I think she was attacked in an alley. That's where I found her."
Mori uses Elise to fix (Y/n) and tells Dazai to leave her there for a while.
The only reason he agrees was because he knew she wouldn't be in any danger.
"I'll be back in a couple days." Dazai grumbles then leaves.

A couple days later Chuuya walks in to check on the girl.
She slowly looks at him and smiles slightly.
"You're finally awake. We were all pretty worried about you. What happened?"
(Y/n) looks away but when he hands her a glass of water she takes it and drinks.
He sits next to her on the bed and crosses his arms. "What happened?"
"A group of guys took out their homophobia on me." She simplifies and drinks more.
Chuuya clenches his fists. "They're lucky we don't know who they are."
"They were from that...east side gang." She whispers weakly.
He looks at her quickly. "Those guys?! They're all dead."

"I already took care of them. I figured out it was them and went to their base. I found out who, why and how before I killed them." Dazai pipes up, walking into the room.
"Osa..." She whispers weakly.
"I'm here little mystery. Your girlfriend texted me, asking if you were okay so I explained what happened. She said she'd visit when you were able to come home."
"She should be fine to leave but definitely needs more rest and to take it easy." Mori adds from the doorway.
All three look at the boss.
"I say we let (Y/n) go but we kill Dazai." Chuuya grumbles, shoving his hands in his pockets.
The girl frowns but blushes when her stomach growls.

Dazai picks up his sister again. "I'm taking her home. Thank you again for your help."
"Visit again soon (Y/n). Elise and I look forward to it." Mori kisses her knuckles as they walk by.
Dazai takes his sister home and lays her down.
His phone goes off and he answers.
"Did Mori seriously heal (Y/n)?" Yosano inquires.
"Yeah."
"What did he ask for?"
"Nothing I can't handle. Tell the president I won't be in for a couple days."
The woman sighs but agrees.

Dazai walks back to check on (Y/n) but finds her girlfriend already nursing her.
(Y/n) smiles lovingly up at her partner.
The agent frowns and walks over. "Thank you for coming."
"I told her to spend the night. It was really late and she would have to pass dangerous territory. She promised she'd be fine. Now look at her."
(Y/n) pouts but looks at her brother. "I'm hungry Osa. Can I have something to eat?"
"Sure. I'll make you some pancakes."
The girl smiles weakly and relaxes.
The other girl lays down and holds her girlfriend close.
