Edit 2.0: Apparently what I said before gave me a lot of hate, which I completely understand now. At the time I wrote this, I myself was in a stage of my life where I felt that if I broke down crying, I was weak and wasn't acting my age, and like many authors before me, I adjusted the characters to reflect some of my own experiences.
