Tommy's P.O.V.
I snickered as I put on his hat, and opened one of his drawers, trying to find something to wear. I quickly found a mustard yellow sweater that he loves to wear. I grabbed it, before putting it on. It was much bigger than me, it almost reaching my knees and the sleeves hanging off my hands by a good 3-4 inches.
I then left his room, making sure to close everything and closed his door so that they didn't know I was there. I then made my way over to Techno's door, and slowly opened it. His room was much different from Wilbur's.
The bed was now a deep red, with black sheets and a dark oak frame with dark gray curtains. Adjacent to the bed on the far wall was a dark desk, and on the wall closest to me, still adjacent to the bed was a dark oak dresser. It was basically a mirror of Wilbur's room, except different colors and way, way, more cleaner.
I looked around the room for a second, before seeing a royal red cape that was outlined in fluffy fur. I walked over to it, and lifted it from where it was hanging. It was a lot heavier than I thought, but I somehow managed to get the clasp around my neck. I know I probably looked ridiculous right now, but did I care? No, no I did not.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw that the moon was rising, and its light shone on something white. I looked over and my jaw dropped at what I saw. There was a animal skull sitting on the desk, a head band attached to it so that someone could wear it.
I hurried over to it, and lifted it up before putting the straps behind my head and letting it fall over my face, covering everything but my eyes. I snickered slightly, and headed out of the room once more, closing the door and making sure that nothing else was out of place.
The scents of Wilbur and Techno surrounded me, and made me calmer for some reason. It felt like they were actually my brothers, and I found myself wanting to think that they were my brothers and that Phil was our father. Speaking of Phil, I reached the last door and wiggled the handle for a second, before it turned.
I quickly entered the room, and was in awe the moment I entered. Again, on the back wall was a bed, but it was bigger than the others' beds. It had a black wood frame, and was covered in a fluffy dark green comforter. The sheets underneath were a gray, and the curtains were a lighter green than the comforter.
There was a desk pushed up against the left wall, facing a gray tinted window. There were two doors to the right of the bed, and I assumed that they were a bathroom and closet. I shuffled my way over to the door closest to the bed.
I opened it and had to close my eyes because the lights immediately came on as I opened the door. It was the bathroom. It was decorated beautifully. It had marble floors with gold trim around everything. There was a chandelier hanging over the bathtub, and a see-through shower in the corner that could hold at least 5 people.
I closed the door, and opened the next one. Again, the lights came on, but it was much easier to adjust to the lights this time. It was definitely Phil's closet. I stared at awe. There were multiple shelves, but most of them were either filled with books or old boxes, all of them having dust over them. There were some outfits hanging, and some shirts that were folded on one of the middle shelves. I looked around, before finding the perfect things to take.
There was a cloak that seemed that it would only reach Phil's knees, but I knew that it would be a full length cloak on me. I grabbed it and put it on under Techno's cape. I then grabbed the thing that was next to it. It was one of his green and white striped bucket hats. I put it one, and it surprisingly fit around the beanie and the skull.
I turned and saw that he had a mirror on his door. I looked, but was shocked when I didn't find anything there. That's when I remembered that vampire's reflections never show up in mirrors. I shuffled myself out of the closet, suddenly feeling like crying.
I walked out of Phil's room, not even bothering to close the doors or anything. I pulled Techno's cape closer to me, biting down the whimpers that threatened to escape my throat as tears blurred my vision.
I kept walking, not even knowing where I was going. Eventually, I ended up in front of another door. I looked at it curiously, quickly wiping the tears off of my face. I reached up with my hand that was covered in the cloak and sweater and opened the door.
I walked in and a smile made itself known on my face. The room was a off white color, with a white fluffy carpet as the floor. On the right side of the room was a white bookshelf set up with a TV in the middle of it. There were many games on the lower shelves, with some controllers on the shelves under the TV. Books rested on the higher up shelves.
There was a clock on the wall furthest from me, but I couldn't read what it said. I looked out the window that was in the back of the room to see that the moon was slowly rising in the sky. I turned back around, and I noticed something that I didn't see before.
There was a little door on the wall with the door to the hallway. I walked over to it, but not before closing the door I just came from. I opened the little door, and my eyes lit up. Inside the closet were blankets and pillows galore, not to mention a couple gray bean bags.
I quickly grabbed a bunch of blankets and pillows, before running to an empty corner in the room. I chose the corner with the left wall and the wall with the two doors. I started to set the pillows in a certain way, before shaping the blankets around it. I stepped back, before deciding that it needed more blankets.
I ran and grabbed some more blankets, and completed my little den. My ears perked up and my tail started to wag. I grinned, and crawled into my makeshift den. I quickly took of the hats and skull, but kept everything else on. Sure, I was heating up quickly, but I didn't mind. I just wanted their scent with me.
I set the hats and skull in a row by the entrance, before reaching out and pulling down a little flap that then covered the entrance of the little den. I settled down, curling up and letting my tail curl around my stomach, my hands instinctively grabbing it.
My ears comfortably lay on my head, and my night vision kicked in. I looked back at the hats and the skull, all lined up neatly. I smiled. I quickly brought my legs to my chest, before putting the sweater over them and keeping them there. I unclasped Techno's cape, and used it as a blanket.
I laid my head down on a pillow, and smiled, closing my eyes and letting their scents overcome me. As I fell asleep, I realized something.
They were my family.
