Chapter 2

We reached the hallway and waited in front of the elevator. Our classroom is on the 3rd floor. Naabutan rin namin si Deborah na nag iintay ng elevator. We need an elevator in school because some classes are on higher floors and with a high ceiling. The elevator opened and we went in. I'm familiar sa ibang faces na kasabay namin pero I don't know their names. So, we all stayed quiet to respect each other.

We reached the third floor. The first section was big, the Alpha. Ang daming nakatambay sa labas ng room nila. Ano yan tila gangster vibe ang bet nila?

We also saw Beta, Charlie, Delta and our room Echo. Our room is the last and placed at the end of the hallway. I heard Rave whispering to Blanca that she heard that Alpha students have access to all school facilities. Lucky for them.

I stopped in front of our class door, a sliding door. Hinawakan ko ang handle and dahan dahan ko siyang binuksan. Nakita ko kung paano kami tignan ng mga unang pumasok. Blanca was excited and pushing me to get in, I stepped backward and let them enter first.

Blanca went in immediately. Iris smiled widely greeting them with their smile. Pinagmasdan ni Deborah ang room and binulungan si Rave na tama nga siya dahil mas malaki room ng Alpha. Rave is quiet, I don't know what she's thinking.

"Boys silang lahat" I whispered. Tinignan ko lahat ang nakaupo pero puro lalaki lang ang narito.

The seats near the entrance are taken. The seats at the back are taken. The seats at the window are taken.

I approached Blanca. "Hey, I don't know where to sit." I asked her.

"Just choose where you think you can hide." tinuro niya yung middle

Hinawakan ko ang gitnang upuan but someone held it. Hindi ko to binitawan pero hindi rin niya binitawan ang upuan. So I looked up and faced him.

Wow. Last thing I know nasa loob ako ng classroom wala sa photoshoot. The man who held the same chair as I want has captivating eyes yet calm like mine. Pinigilan ko ngumiti nang makitang ang puti niya, parang Korean.

"Shit" I heard someone curse behind him.

"Hey! Sorry akala namin wala pang may ari." saad uli ng nag mura sa likod niya. He's a little smaller than the man in front of me.

Tinignan siya nang masama ng kaharap ko. "But I'm the first one who touched the chair." He's not letting the chair go.

Tatalikod na sana ako nang may marinig na boses muli sa tabi ng nag mura kanina.

"Hahahaha ano bayan Keith! Upuan lang yan, dito ka na lang sa isa pa para pareho kayo nasa gitna."

His name is Keith? It's a nice name. It fits him, gwapong pangalan.

"AIBY!" Gulat akong lumingon kay Blanca.

"Okay ka na sa seat mo?" she asked and I nodded. I saw her look at the boys behind my back and smirk at me.

"Have a happy school year." Gantong ganto mga ngiti nila pag nang aasar.

I sat and hung my bag inside the table. We have 5 columns at nasa 3rd column ako.

I played with my phone and opened my Instagram. I saw the messages of Twilla and Ely. Nakalimutan ko na wala pa pala sila, kaya pala ang tahimik nila kanina. Ng onti.

"Keith Keith Keith, Wala pa sila Ivo." Pangungulit kanina nung nag mura. He saw me looking at him and he smiled. He seems nice.

"Pick them up if you want. I'm not leaving my seat, someone may steal it." sagot sa kanya ni Keith.
