Chapter 20

BRICE POV

"Do you wanna dance spaghetti pababa?" Keith asked me at iniisip ko pa lang nandidiri na ko sa sarili ko.

Umiling ako.

"Do you wanna dress up as a hotdog?" Lalong kumot ang noo ko sa sinasabi ni Keith.

Mga sira ulo na ba sila?

Tinitigan niya ko. "So, do you wanna dance spaghetti pababa?" pag ulit niya.

Umiling uli ako.

Inabot niya yung susi niya."Open the car, I have hotdog costume there." nilagay niya sa palad ko.

"Remember the line (Oh mga bata, handa na ba kayo? Sabay-sabay). That's the key for you to enter." Tinalikuran na niya ko.

Hindi ako makapaniwala na pumayag ako sa kanila. Pinili ko na to kesa naman mag spaghetti pababa ako. I'll take this chance to raise our profits too.

And enjoy with them.

Narinig ko na ang line ko at pumasok na ko sa scene. Nakita ko pano magpigil ng tawa ang boys. I heard girls cursing at my back and my audience laughed very hard. I saw Rave and Ely dancing with the boys until all of the girls joined us.

Not bad.

In the midst of our joyous atmosphere, the news we heard affected us badly. I kept thinking how the hell it happened. I made sure that the papers I passed had the name of our class.

First day of the week, Monday, I went straight to the principal's office. I saw how he looked at me with shocked eyes.

"Goodmorning Sir Rio, I would like to ask you about your approval of Theme ideas." I asked him politely and he smirked.

Did he just smirked at me?

"Ohh hi class rep of the Echo class. Please tell me what is your concern about my approval?"

"Sir Rio, I believe that the theme ideas you've approved is ours. It belongs to us."

"Can you show me some proofs?"

"Here sir. The day I typed it in my word and the day I printed it." I showed him the photos in my phone and also the date of the picture I have during class meeting.

He nodded. "And so? It's yours but why will I offend the Alphas for you?"

Did he just....

"I don't want to offend the Alphas for you. Do you have anything to offer for me to change my mind?" Pahabol pa niya.

"I don't have anything I can give you right now sir but I can give you a solution to trample on the reputation of the Alpha have."

He furrowed when he heard me. He leans closer, I know that he's interested.

"I said I don't want to offend them." ulit niya.

"You don't need to sir."

"Then tell me." Pag hahamon niya

"Post a poster apologizing publicly. Tell them that the theme ideas Alpha claimed are ours, Echo. Tell them that they should not believe the rumors."

"But the school already posted the approval for their theme ideas."

"You don't need to post it with the school letterhead and your signature. Just an unofficial poster that came from school."

"Why do you think it will be effective?" He arched his eyebrow, confused by my conditions.

"It doesn't matter to the eyes of the public whether it is true or not. After reading the post, every one inside the campus will doubt them. They will doubt the Alpha and start to dig some more information about this topic....."

Nakita kong napasandal siya at mukhang nag iisip.

"Digging more information will lead them to my classmate's Instagram account. I saw my classmates took a group picture and behind them is the whiteboard. They posted it in their story and the whiteboard behind them is not completely erased. It is the exact day I submitted the paper."

I saw him smile a little. "Why do you think I will do what you told me?"

"I can gather all the hints and proofs alone. I can reveal it in the public and everyone will judge you. They will think that the school didn't take any actions about this issue....."

".... and do you know what will happen if it will reach the ears of their parents? And also the boards of the school?"

Siya na ngayon yung nginisian ko. Nakita kong inangat na niya sakin ang tingin niya.

"Okay, I'll do that"

I nodded. Malakas ang loob ko dahil nalaman kong anak ng senator si Asra at kahit hindi tagapagmana ang mga kaklase ko may connections parin sila.

"Actually, Miss Corpuz already talked to me to double check this issue. She's the first one who talked to me."

Miss Corpuz unang nakausap kay Sir Rio? Bakit naman alam ni Miss Corpuz meeting namin?

"I'm sure Niccolo from Alpha class will talk to you. He'll tell you to delete the post and tell him the school will delete it. But make sure the post is already spread on any social media platforms."

Tinititigan lang niya ko."Go on. Go to your classes." Tumango na lang ako sa kanya bilang sagot.

Tumayo na ko habang iniisip ko pa kung paano nalaman ni Miss Corpuz ang lahat. Pagbukas ko ng pinto nagulat ako ng makita siyang nakasandal sa pinto.

"Narinig mo ba lahat?" Pag tanong ko sa kanya. Nag Tagalog ako, will Keith also think I'm mad?

Tumango siya."Don't worry, hindi ko sasabihin sa kanila."

Nag lakad na ko at nakitang sumabay na rin siya.

Bigla siya nag salita. "Brice I have hotel under my name pero may hawak parin si dad don. Hindi pa siya open dahil balak ko siya iparenovate but I don't have any idea."

Nagtaka ako bakit niya sinabi yun.

"Why are you saying this to me Keith?" Tinanong ko siya.

"Help me to think. Think how my hotel will be the best in 5 months." at Naglalakad na siya palayo.

WHAT THE FREAK? A FREAKING HOTEL? BEST IN 5 MONTHS?

Nag lalakad na kami pabalik sa room at nasa harapan ko si Keith. May naramdaman akong nakasunod sa likod namin kaya napalingon ako.

Nabigla ako nang makita kung sino ang nasa likuran ko. Pati na rin si Keith napatingin sa sumunod samin. Hindi ko siya naramdaman nung nag-uusap kami ni Keith.

"Care to explain what your plans are?" Bumuntong hininga na lang ako dahil alam kong narinig na niya kami.
