Trials End

Chapter 65

We have a 1 hour break until the women's tennis finals. Deborah took a nap habang si Twilla naman ay nag scroscroll sa instagram. Asra is having a group call with her friends overseas, pinapakita ang event.

"Sakit ng lalamunan ko." Bulong sa'kin ni Blanca.

"Ako rin." Iris pouted.

"Ayan, sigaw pa." Paos kong asar sa kanila.

They chuckled. "Mas grabe ka nga eh!"

After the given break time, nasa loob na ng court nag stre-stretching sila Twilla. Ilang sigaw at pukpok ng bote ang ginawa namin even though our throats hurt.

"Go babes!" Malakas na sigaw ni Rave.

Twilla continued to return the ball while Deborah intercepted their opponent. You can even see that Alpha is already annoyed because of Deborah.

Malaking hakbang ang ginagawa ni Twilla sa likod habang si Deborah naman ay maliliit pero mabilis.

"Pagod si Deborah." Graig whispered.

Bigla ako napalingon sa kanya. Natawa ako nang makita na hindi lang ako, pati sila ay nagulat rin.

Graig looked at us confused. "What?" Tinanggal niya ang pag siklop ng kanyang braso.

Umiling naman kaming mag kaklase. Blanca even threw me something-fishy glance. I only shrugged because it's a normal reaction.

Even after all the hard work of my girls, they still failed. Who wouldn't? Varsity players ang kabilang team. Lamang sila sa experience and practice.

Alpha is the champion for Women's tennis.

"Maiinis na talaga ko sayo Claud pag hindi ka pa umayos dyan!" Sigaw ni Ely kay Claud.

Nag lalaro na si Graig at Claud sa tennis court. Habang kami ay nakaupo lang habang sumisigaw. I'm sorry boys but I can't feel my legs anymore. With the all exhaustion, hindi parin namin tinigil ang pagsigaw.

"Yan, nice one Claud!" Sigaw namin dahil na intercept na naman niya ang Alpha.

Graig threw the ball to the air nicely and took a huge swing to hit the ball. Still, Alpha managed to return it to our side.

Their opponents could already read Claud's movement. Nababawasan na ang tira ni Claud at halos napupunta na kay Graig lahat.

Graig's body is giving up. Hindi na niya naitataas ng pagkatodo ang raketa. Si Claud naman ay frustrated na sa ginagawa ng Alpha.

"Go Graig! Go Claud!" I tried screaming at the top of my lungs even if I feel my throat will be torn any moment.

Konting tiis na lang, the game will end.

We all clapped our hands and shouted nice game when the game ended. The two boys returned to our side with a tired face.

We welcomed them smile at nakipag high five and fist bomb naman ang boys. We offer them towels and water.

Alpha is the champion for Men's Tennis.

The last day of the ball tournament ended but we still have smiles on our faces.

I sent a message to our group chat. I told them to rest and don't forget to wear the class's outfit for tomorrow. I slept while my heart was beating like crazy, kabado ako sa sayaw bukas!

I woke up and the first thing that came to mind was our dance competition. Nag madali ako pumasok sa school dahil draw lots daw ang performance.

I'm running in the hallway, no It's more like I'm dragging my body. Ramdam na ramdam ko rin ang gaspang ng lalamunan ko.
