Chapter 72

TAKIBI POV

I'm reading some aviation lessons inside my room. Business ang inaaral ko tuwing nasa school and airplanes naman ang inaaral ko pag nasa bahay. I'm done studying all the effin parts and functions of the airplane.

Now, binabasa ko ang mga iilang basic steps to start and to take off. If I study these things, wala silang maisusumbat na wala akong alam sa eroplano.

I looked at my clock and saw that it is already 12:43 a.m. I sighed when I realized that I've been studying since 9:00 pm. Gabi na masyado, I should rest.

I stood up and fixed my things on my study table. Sakto naman na may kumatok sa kwarto ko.

"Yes?" I shouted, still cleaning my study table.

"Miss Aiby, Nandito po si Miss Rave nagpapaalam po kung pwede pumunta po sa kwarto niyo." Our maid replied.

She's here? "Sige po." I shouted back.

Wala pang 5 minutes ay muling may kumatok sa kwarto ko. I'm sitting at the edge of my bed, waiting for Rave to come in.

"Come in." Sigaw ko sa kumatok ng kwarto ko.

Rave entered my room with a big smile plastered on her face. Natawa ako nang mahina when she lifted her bag and showed it to me.

I crossed my arms. "Tell me, ano na namang sinagot mo sa magulang mo?"

She placed her bag on my coach at umupo. "Just the usual, the iconic tangina niyo." She chuckled.

I stood and sat at infront of her. "Do you want to rant?" I asked her. She won't come here kung hindi pa mabigat ang nararamdaman niya.

She snickered. "That so-called-new wife of my father is so fucking annoying. Panay sigaw na ang landi landi ko daw."

Her step mother huh. Lagi na lang problema ni Rave yang stepmother niya at ang step older brother niya.

"Makahusga na ang landi ko daw, eh dahil nga sa panlalandi niya kay dad kaya siya umunlad."

Ahh, this story again. Her real mother died and her father became addicted to alcohol. Her father and her stepmother met at the bar. Nag usap, nagkita, nagsama at ang ending ay nag pakasal sila.

"Your older step brother, siya na ba ang magmamana?" Tanong ko sa kanya habang tulala siya.

"My father and his mother want him to be the next successor." She rolled her eyes.

"So, you'll let them make him the successor? Wala kang gagawin?" Muling tanong ko. I want Rave to inherit their electric company, Power. She deserves it, her mother taught her simula bata pa lang.

It will be wasted.

Her eyes were staring at me like a lion who finally found her prey. Her eyes are not shining, it's not covered with darkness nor hatred but her eyes are deep waiting for her prey to fall into her hands.

"They're really getting on my nerves big time. Ano naman kaya ang sasabihin nila pag ako ang binoto ng mga shareholders." She chuckled at her very own idea.

I looked at her and smiled. Go Rave, get what is yours to begin with.

I smirked."So, you'll start studying seriously?"

It looks like she came here not to rant but to tell me her decision. Whatever it is, Rave, I'll fully support you.

She looked at me with widened eyes. "What the fuck? Kailangan ko na nga talaga! Urghhh." She groaned at hawak ang hawak ang buhok niya.

"You can do it. Nag aaral naman na tayo paunti unti eh." Trying to encourage her.

She threw me an annoyed glance. "No! Studying is fucking tiring than having sex!"

"Your mouth Rave!" I threw her my pillow.

I kept on teasing her na kailangan na niyang mag aral. Panay naman ang angal niya na ayaw daw niya at bahala daw mag hirap ang pamilya niya. Binabawi naman niya at hindi daw niya kakayanin.

We heard someone knock. "Miss Aiby, papasukin po ba si Miss Blanca?" Our maid asked.

Sabay naman kaming nagkatinginan ni Rave. It's already 2:00 am, ano naman ang ginagawa non?

"Yes po, thank you!" I shouted.

Maya maya pa ay si Blanca na ang pumasok. Kung si Rave ay pumasok nang naka ngiti, Blanca entered my room with a furrowed eyebrows.

Blanca's eyes landed mine. "Aiby, alam mo ba? Urghhhh" She groaned at binagsak ang katawan sa coach.

She looked at Rave. "Oh, you're here! Perfect may kasama ako mainis sa mommy ko."

Rave laughed. "Tapos na ko magkwento. Ano naman ang problema mo?"

Blanca rolled her eyes. "I-I begged my mother."

"You what?!" We both raised our voices. I just didn't expect Blanca to beg.

"Calm down, okay!" Singhal samin ni Blanca.

I chuckled. "Sorry sorry, go, continue."

"I begged her to give me a chance. A chance to prove myself for our company."

"Then you know what she said? She said she'll give that fucking chance if I'll marry the cousin of that damn Niccolo. My mother wants the Lim username." She rolled her eyes and groaned once again. Parehas naman kami napangiwi ni Rave.

"So that's the reason you're annoyed?" I asked her habang pinang gigigilan niya ang unan.

She faced me."Nice question! And no! I threatened her." She laughed.

"You what?!" Gulat na tanong mula namin ni Rave. Kanina lang pinakiusapan niya, pero ngayon tinakot niya.

She looks more irritated. "Can you girls please fucking calm down?"

I rolled my eyes. "Okay, but your words please. Maririnig kayo nila mommy puro fuck fucking ang sinasabi niyo."

She nodded. "I threatened her that I'll reveal to the public that I'm secretly giving my designs to the designers." She smirked.

"Badass." Rave whispered and smirked with her.

"And?" Asking her to continue.

"She said that she's okay with me revealing it. Pinaalala niya sakin ang pinirmahan kong kontrata na isa ako sa mga advisor ng designers so it's natural for my design to be there. Ang bobo ko diba? Nalimutan kong may kontrata." She laughed.

Napanganga naman kami sa kanya at sinabayan siya sa pagtawa.

"But, that's not all. She said she'll give me a mission and she'll decide after that if she'll give me a chance." She added.

A mission suddenly?

I leaned closer to her. "What is it?"

"I'll hold a fashion show. I'll decide when, where, what theme and who my models are. She told me to show how powerful my designs can be. She'll let me borrow her name, staff, money, and 2 models." She started to look serious.

"I want to be angry 'cause she's saying to go fight in the battlefield and if you meet some enemy threaten them with her name." She rolled her eyes.

She looked down. "But I can't be angry. Yung iba nga ay umasenso without the help of their parents."

"I'm still luckier than them. I can use my name and I have the whole Echos backing me up." She slowly raised her sight and smiled at us.

"Glad that you know." Sabi sa kanya ni Rave.

"We should tell this to Echo tomorrow. Us, Ombres will help you Blanca." Singit ko sa kanila. Anytime and anything Blanca.

Blanca nodded and we all laughed. This will be a long and tiring night. I called for our maid to deliver us some snacks. Hindi na daw kami matutulog at diretso ng papasok bukas.
