Chapter 78

I'm inside the bedroom with Blanca and Iris. Iris is wearing a lavender dress, Blanca is wearing a mint green dress and I'm wearing a baby blue tube dress.

Iris called for a makeup artist para saming tatlo. Siya ang unang inayusan while I'm with Blanca patiently waiting.

"Blanca! Can you check my dress please? It's not hugging my body perfectly!" Twilla shouted at lumabas naman si Blanca kaagad.

Maya maya pa ay may sumigaw naman. "Aiby! Tignan mo nga kung bagay 'tong heels?" Rave shouted.

Lumabas ako sa room and I saw her sitting on the sofa, fixing her heels. Napa facepalm na lang ako nang makita iyon.

"Seriously Rave? 4 inch stiletto sandals?" I crossed my arms.

She chuckled. "Bagay sa dress ko eh, sayang."

"But we're in a beach Rave! Gusto mo bang lumubog sa buhangin?"

She paused. "Hala! Oo nga!" Nagulat ako kasi nagulat ata siyang mag buhangin dito.

I turned my back to her to call our personnel and ask for a pair of beach sandals. The staff immediately handed me red sandals. Pinuntahan ko si Rave sa living room and I bent down to help her.

I chuckled. "Stiletto heels on the beach by Rave." Teasing her.

She rolled her eyes. "Oy just shut up! By the way, thank you for this." She stood up on the sofa and winked at me.

4 hours and 30 minutes have passed and the staff called us to proceed to the shore. Sabay sabay kaming lumabas at bumaba ng hagdan.

Nasa gitna pa lang kami ng hagdan nang makita namin sabay sabay ang mga boys na nag kukulitan sa tapat ng main door.

Wearing their plain white polos and tshirts. Habang nakasabit ang mga shades nila sa damit. Sa mga shorts lang sila nagkakaiba.

"Andyan na sila! Finally napaka tagal niyo naman!" Sigaw samin ni Claud ng malakas kaya tumawa kami.

Ayer thumbs up nang makababa kaming lahat sa hagdan. "Gaganda grabe." Agad siyang lumapit sa tabi ni Blanca at bumulong.

Ilang asar pa ang sinabi nila sa isa't isa at tuluyan ng lumabas. I'm actually counting all of the inside my head. Nahahawa na ata ako kay Brice.

15. 16. I counted.

Napalingon ako kay Keith na nasa tabi ko pa pala. Hindi ko maiwasan tignan ang mga mata niyang titig na titig sakin. Nahirapan pa ko makipag titigan dahil nakaharang ang buhok niya. Mukhang hindi niya ata ito inayos.

"I know you're more than pretty but when I look at you, pretty lang ang nasasabi ko." No hesitation and he didn't stutter. He's just standing straight and his eyes never left mine.

He smiled at me and took a step forward, palabas na ng villa.

"I know you're already handsome. Pero I still can't resist being mesmerized by your face.." I replied to his praise while I'm staring at his back.

He didn't look at me. Instead, he moved his right hand. Waiting for my hand to claim it.

I chuckled and held his hand. "Our classmate will tease us."

"Don't mind them. Mind you family, Aiby." He shrugged.

Oh.. Oh my gosh! No! Oo nga pala at andito sila!

"Thank you, Thank you for coming everyone. I know that everyone is busy but I am touched that you all made time for my birthday. Go, enjoy the food, the beach and the view." My father raised his wine glass and his friends followed.
