Chapter 89

I read our girls group chat and saw that the boys will also come and pick them up. Aldo, Claud, Ely and Ella in one car. Fabian, Graig, Earl, Ivo and Brice in one car. Asra, Twilla, Deborah and Iris in Twilla's car. Ayer and Blanca will bring their own Honda Civic, they're just going to flaunt it. Rave will ride her own motorbike.

What if we're all gonna use our own cars? Napailing na lang ako sa iniisip ko. Of course it will be impossible, aabutin kami ng ilang araw sa pagpark pa lang. But someday, lahat kami ay may dala. It would be so effing awesome!

I changed my clothes and I'm already waiting for Keith in front of my main door. Natigil lang ako sa pagtitig sa kawalan when my phone vibrated. Fabian sent a message to our group chat.

Fabian: I think we need some medic. Sasabog na ata ang ulo ni Brice kila Ivo.

Asra: Why?

Fabian: Pinipilit nilang kumanta si Brice. Ibababa daw ang hindi kumanta.

Natawa ako nang makita ang message niya. I can't imagine Brice singing with these guys. Baka kung para sa grades pa ay pumayag siya. I saw my classmates gave a haha react to Fabian's message.

Napatingin ako when I heard Keith's car. He's waiting for me to get in. I saw how he slowly smiled when I entered his car.

"Why are you smiling earlier?" Tanong niya habang umaandar na ang kotse.

"Oh it's just Fabian. Mukhang nastrestress na ngayon si Brice kasama ang boys." Sagot ko sa kanya habang tinignan muli ang group chat. Earl sent a photo of them. Ivo is driving, Earl is on the passenger seat at nasa likuran sina Fabian, Graig at nasa gitna si Brice na nakakunot ang noo.

"Brice... he's starting to come with us without persuasion." Saad niya habang seryosong nakatingin sa daan.

I smiled at his line. "Yeah, no more pamimilit." I looked outside and saw that it was already evening. Isa pa sa mga napanisin ko ay mas mabagal ang takbo ng kotse ngayon.

He's being careful I see.

"We're here." Keith removed his seatbelt after parking the car. Saglit ko lang nasulyapan ang building ng Heaven's feel kanina at halos ngumanga na ko. Ngayon ay nasa basement parking kami at hinihintay ang iba.

"Dito muna tayo habang hinihintay sila para sabay sabay tayo pumasok." Tumango ako sa sinabi niya.

"Oh, Twilla's car is here!" Tinuro ko ang kotse ni Twila na patay bukas ang headlight na nakatapat sa'min.

"Let's wait for everyone." Tumango ako muli.

"Aiby, I'm nervous." Keith whispered and wore the hood of his gray hoodie. Nakasandal siya at nakatingala habang nakapikit.

"Why?" I asked him, curious why he's nervous. Wala naman kaming gagawin sa kanya. He's not here to propose a project, sing in front or what.

"It's your first time to see Heaven's Feel, right? I-I'm nervous for your reaction. What if it's not beautiful enough? What if you'll be disappointed? Heaven's Feel is my hard work, I'm afraid it will not reach you." He said with his hoarse voice, still pleasant to my ear 'cause it's his voice.

I took a deep breath and thought about what I would reply. Seeing him in this state because of me made my heart flutters but clouded me with worry.

I tugged the hem of his hoodie. He opened his eyes and his calm but deep eyes landed on me. Bakit ba lagi niyang alam kung nasaan ako? Laging pagkadilat niya ay sa'kin kaagad ang bagsak?

"I already saw the building Keith and I'm actually holding myself to open my mouth. Sigurado ako na maganda rin ang loob. Be confident! Kung sakaling may hindi maganda, edi pagiba natin! Pagawa ulit natin." I smiled as I was trying to lighten up the atmosphere. I held his hand na nilahad niya.
