New day, another day to waste a lot of energy. 3 days playing sports, dancing like there's no tomorrow yesterday and now our award ceremony. We're all in the Central Hall waiting for everyone to arrive.
The emcee greeted us and started introducing the guests and the school officers.
"Blanca, talagang hindi ka nahihiya mag phone." Bulong ko sa kanya dahil simula pa kanina, ayun lang ang inaatupag niya.
She looked at me boredly. "Sobrang nakaka bored, okay? Para namang may pake tayo sa mga achievements ng mga officers na yan."
Asra nodded at her side. "Tama, pagpapapansin lang naman ang ginawa nila. Ano magaling don?"
Blanca rolled her eyes. "Diba? Geez, hindi nga nila tayo inaasikaso eh."
"Shh." I silenced them. "Don't be like that, baka may makarinig. Pero I agree." Nag thumbs up ako sa kanila kaya nag tawanan kaming tatlo.
Someone cleared his throat. "Naririnig ko kayo." Napalingon kami kay Aldo na nag salita sa likuran namin.
We all sighed in relief. "Kala namin kung sino!"
Keith is sitting beside Aldo. He leaned closer to us. "Don't worry, we already tricked sir Rio.
We all nodded and giggled. Just make them believe that we'll always stay second.
Tinatawag na ng emcee ngayon ang Alpha kasi sila ang nag champion sa basketball. Niccolo stood there confidently habang nasa kanya ang mvp medal.
They called Jessica to claim the trophy dahil sila ang nanalo sa volleyball.
"Nye nye, asa lang naman sa kampi." Ely scoffed.
Tinapik naman siya kaagad ng kambal niya. "Bitter." Suway sa kanya ni Ella.
Tinawag naman nila ang representative ng Alpha for Men's and Women's tennis. Tuwang tuwa naman ang Alpha sa lahat ng nakuha nila. Everytime na madadaan sila sa side namin ay panay ngisi sila.
The emcee called Brice to claim the trophy on the stage. He stood up and fixed his glasses with his middle finger. Lumakad na siya ng dahan dahan habang sinasabi ng emcee ang mga plays ni Brice sa Billiards.
Brice looked at Alpha while he's walking. He shook his head at itinuloy ang lakad papuntang stage.
"Pfft, sandali hindi ko mapigilan tawa ko." Tinakpan ni Blanca ang bibig niya.
Pumikit ako, also trying to calm myself down. Damn you Brice, talagang gumanti ka pa. Rinig na rinig ko naman ang mahihinang tawa nila Ayer sa likuran. Sinasaway naman sila ni Graig habang si Fabian naman ay pinapasukan ng panyo ang bunganga ni Claud.
The emcee asked the staff to play a video in the projector. Videos ng mga highlights ng sayaw kahapon. Natuwa ako nang makita lahat ng section.
"I will now announce who ranked 3rd in our dancing competition. Thank you for entertaining us the whole performance. With the performance that brought smiles on our faces, let's call Charlie!" Saad ng emcee while clapping.
Charlie has a shocked expression in their faces. I clapped my hands, dahil tuwang tuwa rin ako sa ginawa nilang performance. Their representative stood up and claimed their trophy.
"Now for our 2nd place, that makes us change our first impression. Let's call Echo class for giving us a performance with perfect synchronization and a nice concept."
They all clapped and smiled. We stood up and gave them a bow and smiled.
"Uy sino aakyat?" Bulong ni Ayer sa likod.
