Chapter 73

"We don't have afternoon classes. We're all free to go or stay after our lunch break." Brice announced in front of our class.

I raised my hand. "Brice, may sasabihin kami nila Blanca mamaya." I saw how they all turned their heads to look at me.

He nodded. "Let's all stay for a while and listen to their concerns later." He went back to his seat.

Blanca approached me with Ely. "Tara cafeteria?" I nodded then stood up.

"Alam mo Aiby, hindi ko alam kung maiinis ako o matatawa sa mga alpha." Bulong sa'kin ni Ely habang naglalakad kami. Ely must have felt Alpha's stares. Their stares are still there, nanghuhusga at tumatawa.

We chuckled. "Tawanan mo lang then looked at their reactions." Sagot ko sa kanya.

She nodded and looked at Alpha with a big smile on her face. Napailing na lang kami sa kanya.

We arrived in our cafeteria and lined up for our food. Kumuha kami ng pagkain and sat on the right table near the entrance.

While we're eating, dumapo ang mata ko kay Jessica na kakapasok pa lang ng canteen. Lumapit siya sa table namin with her side chicks.

Mocking us with their eyes. I continued eating, not minding them kahit nakatayo na sila sa tapat ng table namin.

Halos ibuga ko ang kinakain ko when I heard Ely laugh her ass loud. Tinapik tapik ko naman ang likuran ni Blanca dahil nabilaukan siya.

I looked at Ely and Deborah na sabay tinatawanan si Jessica. Hindi na maipinta ang mukha ni Jessica habang nakatingin siya sa dalawa.

I chuckled softly. Yari, sinunod nga ng dalawa ang sinabi ko. Rave, Twilla and Asra are just looking at them with a smug look on their faces at si Iris nahihiyang tumingin. Ella and I are the only ones who kept eating.

"What are you laughing at?" Jessica questioned them, annoyed.

Ely and Deborah looked at me. Both!

Jessica trailed their stares and that made her extra annoyed. "So, ikaw na naman ang pakana bakit ganto ugali ng mga 'to. Trash learns from trash huh?"

I didn't answer her and continued filling my mouth with the desserts. Don't mind her Takibi Aiby.

"What? Can't talk suddenly? Fucking coward." She snorted.

That's when I looked at her. "Are you okay? Do you have problems? You can tell me." I asked her with fake genuinity.

She arched her eyebrows. "Huh? What are you talking about?"

"I'm asking if you have problems in mind. Baka meron, kaya sa'min mo binubuhos ang inis mo."

Confused by my replies, she stood there in a dazed state.

I heard a familiar voice. "Excuse me." He shoved Jessica gently at sumunod naman ang boys sa kanya.

I looked at Keith na umupo sa tapat ko. He's eating an ice cream on a cup while he's wearing his usual hoodie. Umupo naman ang mga boys sa tabi ng mga girls.

"Jessica, what are you doing there?!" Someone shouted. I followed where it came from and saw that it's from Niccolo. He's sitting on the middle table with his gang.

Nagkatinginan kami ni Niccolo, galit ba siya? Bakit ang sama makatingin? O baka hindi sa'kin natingin?

"Eyes on me, Aiby." Keith whispered.

I tilted my head, still processing what's happening. Binalik ko ang tingin ko kay Jessica and saw that she retreated and went to other Alphas. Nawala ang tingin ko sa kanila nang mahagip ng paningin ko si Keith.
