Bittersweet Notions Of Forever

Chapter 101: Positano (Part 2)

You lifted your eyelids slowly, rubbing the tiredness away, breathing out deeply, stretching your body.

The strong light from the sun entered through the windows, making you rub your tired eyes. Jetlag was just horrible, and you had fallen asleep right away after coming back to the hotel last night.

If you had not had so much wine yesterday, you would not have been able to fall asleep. Getting adjusted to a different time zone would take a day or two for you.

This hotel bed was too comfortable, the sheets were silky soft and smooth, making you want to stay in bed for longer. The flight trip had been long, and it had made you tired. You needed the sleep.

However, there was a plan for the day, and it was your first day in Positano. You could not afford to miss out on anything and waste more time on sleeping.

A smile crept on your face, you let out a little sigh, and sat up in bed. Your eyes drifted to your side, seeing the empty bedside, wondering about where your husband could be, but then you looked straight out as the curtains moved by the wind.

The door to the balcony was open, letting in the warm and soothing breeze. The white curtains swayed to the side, making you spot him. Your smile reached to your eyes, when your eyes fell on his bare back.

Soo Hyuk stood outside on the balcony, wearing white loose fitted pants that seemed comfortable. He leaned over, looking at the ocean view and seeming to enjoy the beautiful sight.

The wind was blowing gently through his hair. You held in a sigh as you looked at him. He is such a beautiful person.

Grey smoke appeared in the air above his head, and your eyes flickered to the lit cigarette in his hand.

He took in a long drag, breathed out, tipping his head back and he closed his eyes briefly. You sighed deeply, taking in his sight.

He turned around, facing you with the smoke in his hand. He froze with the cigarette to his lips, and he blinked his eyes, but the corner of his lip slowly curved up.

"You're awake." His voice was low and husky.

He put out his cigarette and tossed it in a bin at the balcony. He pulled the curtains aside as he stepped back into the room.

"Hmm, I fell asleep last night." You said.

"Yeah, you were pretty tired."

"Sorry, I couldn't keep myself up for longer." You told.

His eyes were locked with yours with a lopsided smile on his face, he crawled into bed, hovering over you.

"Don't say sorry for being tired." He said.

His scent overwhelmed you, filling your mind, making your head feel light like feathers. You breathed in deeply, sinking into the bed as he pressed you down with his weight.

You reached your hand out, grabbed the gold necklace that was around his neck, tugged on it, drawing him closer to you, wanting to close the tiny gap between you.

He let out a low chuckle, gazing into your eyes as he hovered over you, making you naturally lean down into the bed as he got closer to you. You unknowingly scrunched your nose at the scent of tobacco.

"I don't want you to smoke." You said aloud.

He leaned down to you pressing his weight on you, and you gasped, feeling his hard muscles, getting pressed into the mattress by his weight.
